I’m happy with the deadeye. It feels very high quality and premium
Pro:Works wellNative support in Golf+Not made of Chineseium (unlike other amazon clubs I’ve tried )Adjustable weights and carbon fiber finishHigh build qualityCons:Pressing the buttons on the club is hard to get used to at firstMore expensive than other clubsI did a lot of research before buying a deadeye. Other clubs were cheaper and I did buy a yezro first but it felt like swinging a pipe not golfing. I returned it and bought this instead. It’s an absolute game changer. The weight of the club feels great and very similar to a golf club. I like having the option of changing the club weights though I honestly don’t use them because I like the club feeling as lightweight as possible. Setup in game is really simple. You just select the deadeye preset in game. The 3d printed cup feels high quality. I was at first concerned about hitting it on things but after a few swings I realized it’d be pretty hard to hit the 3d printed cup with where it’s located on the shaft. The controller grip is really nice and they have their logo all over it. And all over the thumbscrews. They really like their logo lol. In summation this is a really good club and I don’t see myself buying another one any time soon.

Makes VR golf feel real.
What a game changer. It works great and fits well. Nothing loose. The extra weight makes it feel so real to swing and with the grip its amazing. Easy to put together and short length makes it great for tight spaces.Only thing is thats its right hand only. I wish it was for left hand controllers also as I am a lefty, but I can I still play . Hopefully they make it and reach out because i would buy that now.

Swing feels very natural, great for Golf+ on VR
as an avid golfer I decided to pick up a club handle for Golf+. A golf grip just doesn't feel right on the Quest Controllers and I was getting weird swing results. Connecting the controller to the DeadEye is extremely easy. it fits really snug and I had no worries that it would come flying out and destroy something in the process. It has a decent grip on it and feels good, but I may regrip with something I use on my own clubs. The swing weight feels great with the controller mounted and I feel that you take a fairly natural golf swing with the device.I took a few practice swings in the golf+ range to see if I needed to change any settings after attaching. Golf+ has options to choose your swing device in the settings menu, the DeadEye is the first option just an FYI.The only clunky part which really isn't the devices issue, is having to switch back and forth between holding the club grip to swing and holding the attached controller to navigate the game menus.I had to reset the club length after attaching the swing stick, being a taller guy I had maxed out the in game club length. Now, I started out by testing the attachment by taking bunker shots, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! hitting out of the sand was insanely inconsistent before using the Deadeye adapter. I was able to manipulate the shots better by opening and closing the face and I didn't feel like I was "flicking" my wrists like I did with the controller alone.after feeling confident about the bunker shots I moved on to driving, most shots were straight as an arrow and when they weren't, I knew my swing was at fault.lastly putting, I didn't spend too much time putting yet, but it does give you a more natural pendulum feel and I can feel that after some adjustments it will be more intuitive.all in all this is a great product, if anything changes Ill be back to update my review, but I am hard pressed to believe that will happen.

Is it worth $100??? YES!!! Does it feel real? YES!!! Does it swing like a real golf club? YES!!!
If feels so real in VR it's exactly like a real golf club. I bought this specifically for Golf Plus and it was a breeze to set up, just go in and pick the Deadeye DriVR elite in the menu, its already preconfigured to work with the game! I was skeptical on weather or not this thing would be worth $100 so I tried a cheaper one first, a cheep $30 Amazon one, which was a joke, little more than just a handle. Next I tried the weighted Yezro 90 degree for $60 and that one was much better, but the Yezro is still pretty much just a fancy handle, sure it has weights on it, but its short and it doesn't swig like a real club. The Yezro is well made, its all metal and it has a very premium look and feel and the DriVR Elite Is also very primium, it's all carbon fiber with a real golf grip, and comes with 12 weights so you can really dial it in for your taste. The weight cap on mine is nice machined aluminum and its spring loaded so there is no jiggle once the weights are in. I put all the weights in there and it feels just right to me. The controller holder on the DriVR isn't as premium as the Yezro, but its adequate, the controller fits in there sung and secure and it holds it perfectly so there is ZERO issue with tracking for me. The most important thing is when I'm in VR it feels like I'm holding a real golf club, it looks like I'm holding a real golf club, it feels like I'm swinging a real club and it hits like a real club. You even get the TINK! with haptic feedback making it feel like you just hit a real golf ball! In VR I'm totally immersed and everything feels real and just right. I have no idea or indication that its not a real club. Speaking to the quality of "Golf +" the game, I think its pretty realistic. There is a level of skill involved. I think it's might more forgiving than real golf but you can still slice, hook and pull your shots. I got the special Deadeye Bundle pack, which includes the long Green Carbon Fiber DriVR Elite and the MasterBreaker Haptic VR Pool Cue, for $127, which is freaking AWSOME! A pretty good deal as you get the Drivr elite for $67 and $60 for the Cue. I don't think you have to be a serious golf fanatic to buy this, but if you want it to feel real, just using the controller or a cheap golf handle isn't going to cut it. There are other VR golf clubs out there that will work, just be sure you get something with some length and added weight to the end of it. I think the Yezro 26" looks like it might be a good second choice but the Deadeye DriVR Elite is definitely the best one you can get! you may be a little poorer but you will not be sorry when feel the satisfaction and awesomeness when you are in VR, you will totally be blown away how great it is!

New to VR, got it for Walkabout Mini Golf and makes a huge difference. I moved up to Golf+, perfect for both games.
