I VERY rarely write reviews . However, I am a "handy ma'am" and I am impressed with this little boot bench. I like that it is made with a sustainable type of wood (bamboo). All the parts were in the package. It is well-engineered and went together very easily (20 minutes tops). It looks attractive and just happens to complement my Mission Style furniture. It's very lightweight and yet appears sturdy. Two things: (1) I noticed as I was assembling the bench that there is one tiny, hairline crack in one of the grooved seams on the seat. Given that bamboo must be glued together to make "boards" and "slats," this was not too surprising to me. It is only visible if the seat is held up to the light and you view it from underneath. It also would not surprise me if, with heavy use, similar cracks eventually occurred in those grooved seams. But, the design supports the seat reasonably well. I would urge the manufacturer to consider adding a crossbar underneath and along the length of the seat for extra stability. I'd give it 5 stars with that added support. (2) Just a suggestion for assembly: I screwed one leg at a time onto the two shelves and initially only tightened the screws down to level with the wood. Then, I put the top on and did similar with the bolts. After it was all assembled, I did the final tightening of all screws and bolts--again, one leg at a time. I have a drill with Allen wrench bits but did not use it. Over-tightening with a strong drill might crack the wood.

This is a strong, well-designed piece of inexpensive furniture (others are selling this for $10 or so more). There is no brand name emblazoned on it which for me is a plus. It is finished quite nicely, it goes together quickly and easily. Bamboo has a great strength to weight ratio and the straightforward design assures that this bench is plenty strong enough for even large people to sit on, and it's still very light to move around as needed. It is only wide enough for 2 pairs of adult shoes, as shown - you might be able to get 3 pairs of kids' shoes on each shelf. Some taller boots may not fit - there's only a 6 1/2" height for the bottom shelf, 6 3/4" for the top. I would buy this again, and may buy several more!

Assembly was a breeze. It has proven to be very stable/sturdy. Easily supports my weight (160 lbs) when I sit to put on my shoes. I am able to fit two pairs of shoes (mens) on each shelf with room to spare (so i would imagine you'd be able to fit 3 pair of kids/womens on each shelf). My (mid) hiking boots fit on either shelf. i think it looks nice with the clear/natural finish. I like the fact that it is a solid piece of material as opposed to a veneered piece. I am happy with the purchase.

Great product! Well made and easy visual directions. I use it by the door in my Airstream trailer...perfect for taking off and storing shoes, etc. Grandkids love it because it makes it much easier for them to get their gear on and off as well as knowing where it should go:) The bamboo is so well finished that it looks like wood. Well worth the price!

I usually enter my home from the garage and just had new floors installed upstairs. I wanted something I could keep shoes on to prevent tracking dirt and/or water through my house. This bench provided the perfect solution! I can fit six pairs of size 11 men's athletic shoes on the first and second level, and I can easily sit on the bench to take off shoes when I arrive home or put some on before heading out. I even have room for a plant on the top level! Assembly was not just five minutes; I'd say it was more like 15. However, holes were pre-drilled, so assembly was pretty simple. It looks good and is quite sturdy. I could even see it being used as a TV stand.

Mine came and smelled just school glue not a terrible smell just something to be aware of. It’s SUPER easy to pu together and it’s very sturdy the screws are multi colored? Like multi chrome almost but cheaply done but they work so yeah

Very happy with this shoe rack/bench storage purchase. When I carried box into house I questioned if it could be as sturdy as description claimed due to box being very light. The color/tone of bench is better than I hoped for. Assembly was EXTREMELY easy. So easy that from the time I stopped admiring it & started (inventory check is ALWAYS my first step before reading instructions beginning to end) it took no more than 5 minutes. There is NO DOUBT that it is as sturdy as they claim. It looks so good. Am am over the moon HAPPY. Very impressed.
