Great Quality product. If you rough up the dirt and keep the seed covered with something like straw, etc. this stuff germinates quickly strongly and nice and extra green!

I ordered this grass seed to extend my lawn 3000 square feet. The grass seed took a while to get root, but is now the greenest part of my lawn. I’m impressed with how long the grass stays green. However, some more overseeing will be needed to thicken the lawn. We usually do not see temperatures in the summer above 90 degrees for more than 2 weeks in the summer and stay well below 50 degrees for most of October thru April.

70 % germination……grew well,all year …..did not survive the winter in Mi …must be annual rye grass 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🙇🏼

I used this grass seeds for my front yard I don't get too much sun because of my big tree but it worked well I was surprised because I was not sure it would work; I recommend this grass seeds.

It's grass seed. One should be able to loosen the dirt, apply the seed and step in and water it daily until it sprouts which it has not done after several weeks.

If only you could’ve seen my backyard before hardly any grass and all weeds. So I scalped it down, dethatched, slit seeded it in April and it never once went dormant and grows amazing

I started a return on this grass seed because after 3-1/2 weeks, not one seed had germinated. I used a tried and true method of mixing a small portion with peat moss and wetting it, covered fora week. Not one germination. I've done this with other grass seed and was surprised at how long the shoots were after 5 days. I also sowed the seeds into fresh loam, raked them in, and rolled them in at the same time. A lot of water was used to keep them wet. I was giving up after about 26 days and started a return on the half of bag remaining when I noticed a few germinating. I placed a tarp on another area to block evaporation and those seeds germinated. So now after 4 weeks, I can see about 1/2" sprouts in some of the areas. Other areas have yet to germinate. Tomorrow is 4 weeks and I would estimate about 10-20% have germinated. Pretty low. I will re-seed and use the other half bag to hopefully recover, but I should have stuck with a known brand. I was hoping for a return and refund, but it didn't seem right once the seeds actually germinated, so I cancelled the return. Still, I'm not happy with the performance of a seed labelled for quick germination. I tried taking pictures but the sprouts are so small, you can't really see them. UPDATE: 10/4/25 I used the remaining see to overseed two weeks ago. Nothing has germinated. A lot of wasted water. Worse yet, all the seed I planted last spring and finally grew has pretty much died. Not heat tolerant at all. Lots of brown spots. Worst seed I've ever used. DON'T BUY IT
