ON THE BORDER Cafe Style Chips, Tortilla, 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)

First, box was a bit smashed, so was nervous, but all THREE packages were intact and no more were broken than if I had gotten them at a store. TEXTURE: Wanted to start with that first, because I LOVE the texture. Chips were VERY CRISP and yet had a lighter texture than most restaurant chips. They weren't as oily or salty. Now I LOVE restaurant chips, but these were really good and I liked this light crispy texture a LOT. TASTE: I much prefer corn over flour tortilla chips and so loved these were corn. Again, not as SALTY in taste or salty texture as restaurant chips. QUANTITY: THREE good sized bags...but that brings me to PRICE.... PRICE: YES, MORE EXPENSIVE than I would get at the grocery store. In total for all three bags, I probably paid six or seven dollars more and I get free shipping thru Prime. BUT IN THESE TIMES, and the fact I no longer drive and am older and don't WANT to be in stores, A SMALL PRICE to pay for these great chips. BOTTOMLINE: If you like corn chips with a lighter, less grainy texture, less oily and without the coarser salt coating, I think you would like these. I plan on getting them again. BUT, as with all things, your mileage and taste may vary.

These chips taste great with Tostitos salsa, la Victoria, and Pace. They have a good tortilla flavor that doesn't get in the way of the flavor of the salsa. Not too salty and not too bland. On The Border makes a great chip. Big triangles that have a solid crunch and can be piled up with salsa and/or other toppings without breaking. The texture and flavor is better than Mission chips and stronger and less salty than Tostitos chips. To give you an idea of how good they are, I thought I was paying $10 for one bag, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive 3 bags (a more reasonable price for a big party size) in the order. Grab the gallon size Pace with this 3 pack and you will have chips n salsa for days.

Not much else to say, there are some bad corn chips out there but most of them are all right. For me it's always been more about the dip than the chip, but it's nice to have a good chip as well. These are probably the best I've ever hand. They taste quite good even on their own, but of course they are better with a dip and as stated in the title I think they taste better than tostitos.

They are edible and a good value, but I thought they were a bit stale.

The chips are great, not stale, which I was worried about. I got them a day earlier than it said. But…every bag of chips, I ordered the three pack, were crushed. Every bag. It’s like someone jumped on them and throw them in the box.😢

I've loved this brand for a while and decided to "roll the dice" with ordering bags of corn chips through Amazon, being shipped via USPS. I was amazed that all 3 bags came with the majority of the chips were still in whole form.

took this to a family party and all three bags of chips were rotten. The date on them was 2021. We threw them away. Embarrassing.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered these and I will keep ordering. They are packaged perfectly and never crushed. Taste great and always delivered on or before the delivery date. Thanks!
