This little retractable device is a game changer for my remote that would always get lost down the couch. The wire length is plenty long and the sticky side on the remote is super good and won't come off accidentally. The best thing is the cats can't chew through the wire. This is the 2nd one I've bought and happy with both!

This is an UPDATE to my initial review of 5 stars. Yes, Strong Adhesive, also came w/ hardware and adjustment tool (little Allen wrench). Like the curved feature to better suit t.v. remote controls, contoured shape. No lost remote in couch cushions, no one walks away with it - always handy. Until the cable breaks. You've got to be super mindful when tugging or puling away from case, as it's retractable. I suggest maybe giving it all the slack with that "adjustability" feature/tool. That way yoyre not having to actually tug at it at all when aiming remote towards t.v. mine broke, I somewhat fixed it temporarily, because i like this concept. That "fix" was short-lived. No other teathering gadgets, of THIS particular kind, are "out there" (at least, i couldn't find any) so i will ve ordered another, only NOW I know exactly , the area of compromise, therefore, I will reinforce with some sort of bonding glue.

This item works amazing for my parent with dimentia, who hides remotes. I got tired of remote hunting when he'd hide them, purchasing additional remotes or batteries. This so far has been the only thing to keep his remote put.

This was a lifesaver with two toddlers in the house that love to run off with the remote and leave it in all kinds of strange places. I unfortunately need to order another one because the cable snapped after 7 months of heavy daily use. I did have to super glue it to my remote after about 5 months of heavy use, because the adhesive wore out.

My kid has a rolling chair. He likes to roll it all over the house. For some reason, we find this very annoying. With this, it's no longer a problem! HA! The cable is attached to the underside of his desk, and it is long enough for him to roll to the side and watch TV. This was an excellent fix.

Worked great for the first day. Once the kids pulled it a little too hard, it broke. The metal piece on the end of the cable that connects into the rubber piece you attach to the remote pulled through. If you don't have kids or pull it too hard, I'm sure it would be great, if you're buying this because your kids keep losing the remote, move on to another.

The boys and man in my household have this amazing ability to misplace the remotes even though it was just on their hands 2.76 seconds ago. Since purchasing this remote leash, the remotes are no longer misplaced! The leash is incredibly sturdy and durable! It’s managed to hold up despite my insanely energetic child trying to test the leashes limits 😜. I purchased a second one for our Roku remote. If you have a remote in your home that frequently walks off, I highly recommend this!!!!

I love Amazon Fire TV but I hate the remote. It's so damn small it's constantly falling in cracks in the couch or getting lost for days at a time. NO MORE! Thank god for this thing. Sticks perfectly to the rounded back of the remote and keeps it in one place. I'd say it has about 6 feet of tether which is long enough to use at either side of my couch.

Good product but it could use a little more reaction force or 2 settings to allow for better resistance. My cabinet door doesn't close perfectly but it it close. I highly recommend

Not enough strength to recoil a fly screen

Tired of loosing the kitchen scissors, so was I. This little gadget was easy to install and the kitchen scissors are safe from being scissor-knapped now!

Got them for a "hope it works" project of having my screen door close as we have indoor cats that like to run out. Glued one and it actually pulled the door shut but it felt like a light pull. I figured over time with dirt accumulation and aging screen door rollers (new screen door) it would have trouble fully closing, so I added a second one.

bought this so we stop losing our remote, which we just paid to replace. Works amazing lol. Family isn’t a fan but it is very effective!
