Very handy recorder but with a risk of techno glitch
It a very handy, easy to use and versatile product. Being a Laparoscopic Surgeon, I use this to record all my lap videos, through a DVI-HDMI converter cable. But, I must confess, the final recording quality is less than desired for a full HD surgical recording..another great risk is a techno glitch esp when connected to a 1or2 TB Ext HDD. It starts well but rec stops sometime in the middle, and hence I lost few previous surgical videos..what a loss!! Another problem is design is the recording indicator is on the top surface. So, if you put it on a shelf you’v to go close to confirm whether it is recording..a small indicator on the front side (perhaps, beside the red power indicator) would have solved this problem..all in all, I would like to give it 3 starts for its handiness and versatility.
