Control Freak Eyebrow Gel - Clear

Proper prepping is the key to success, so make sure to clean your eyebrows first. I have thick eyebrows and this keeps them in place. PROS Quality – I have sensitive skin and this does not cause any irritation for me. Natural appearance – Does not give a clumpy or caked-up look Hold – Keeps my brows in check, does not have that “wild” free for all look Effectiveness – Keeps my brows in the shape I make them Consistency - Did not make my brows feel stiff, but kept them in place Value for money – great price and you get a lot Drying time – Dries very fast CONS Durability – does tend to flake a bit if you try to go from a long day into the night

I use this daily to tame my eyebrows. It works wonderfully. I’m very happy with the hold - it lasts all day. It goes on clear and stays clear and does not flake. It is easy to wash off at night when I wash my face and is gentle on my eyebrows. It’s easy to apply and the spoolie brush is perfect.

Eyebrow gels are a staple in my makeup routine, helping me keep those unruly brows in check. The NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Control Freak Eyebrow Gel has been a reliable addition to my beauty toolkit, delivering some noteworthy results with a few tiny hitches. Here’s a detailed 4-star review of my experience. 💫 All-day Control 🌞🌙: This eyebrow gel offers commendable hold. Once applied, my brows stay in place all day, resisting the elements and general wear and tear. No more worrying about my brows while I’m out and about! 👁️ Clear and Unnoticeable 🕵️‍♀️: The clear gel does not disrupt my eyebrow color and blends seamlessly. It offers a natural finish, allowing my brows to shine without the appearance of excess product. 🌱 Non-sticky, Lightweight Feel 🌾: Despite its strong hold, the gel doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. It’s comfortable to wear throughout the day, which is a major plus point for me. 🌬️ Quick Drying ⏳: It dries pretty quickly upon application, saving precious time in the morning and keeping the rest of my makeup routine on schedule. However, there’s a small aspect that may not appeal to everyone: 💧 Slightly Wet Finish 🌊: The gel tends to leave a somewhat wet or glossy finish, which might not be to everyone’s liking. If you prefer a matte finish, you may need to apply a bit of brow powder over the top to reduce the shine. In conclusion, the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Control Freak Eyebrow Gel earns a solid 4-star rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me. Despite its slightly wet finish, the eyebrow gel’s strong hold, clear appearance, lightweight feel, and quick-drying property make it a strong contender in the eyebrow gel market. Thank you for reading my review. Best of luck finding the perfect brow companion for your makeup routine! 💄🍀🎉

Ok, if you need an eyebrow product that actually works, you gotta try the NYX Control Freak. I’m obsessed. I literally use this clear gel every single day. It's a total game-changer for keeping those brow hairs in check. The formula is legit – totally clear, no weird flakes, and zero crunchiness (unlike some other gels that feel like hairspray on your face). The wand is tiny and perfect for really brushing those little guys into submission and shaping them exactly how you want. The best part? The hold is unreal. My brows stay put all day long, from my morning coffee run to evening chill time, they don't move an inch. It feels lightweight, like nothing is even there, but the results are solid. Plus, the price is super budget-friendly for how amazing it is. I've already blown through a bunch of tubes and I’m definitely grabbing more. This is a forever staple in my makeup routine!

are we using the same product? why sm five star reviews lol i have thicker brows so this don’t really work for me. it’s a very soft hold. a plus would be that it’s not flakey or leave white residue. i liked the bigger wand but barely any product comes out of the tube. idk if i got a bad one but this ain’t my cup of tea i need a strong hold laminated brow look and this jus don’t do that

I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade for my brows, and while I love the color and shape it can give my brows, I hate that it smudges easily. Grabbed this on a whim one day and it definitely helps to set my brows in place and keep my brow makeup from moving and smudging. I've had more expensive brow setting gels recommend this to me but this one does the job on a budget. EDIT: After purchasing and using this stuff for 2-3 years, I've found one caveat with it. You NEED to apply it in very short, very precise strokes, because while it is still wet, it will drag the color of whatever brow product you have on underneath, along with it. If you try to drag this product over your brow in one long sweep, and you're wearing a brow gel/pomade underneath already, this product can cause unsightly smudges you may have to wipe off after you've already done a careful job on your foundation. Short, precise strokes do the job without moving your color too far from where you've already applied it. Still does a great job locking brows in place though.

This NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel is such a great product and an amazing value. It holds brows in place without feeling stiff or flaky, and it gives that polished, gel-like look without breaking the bank. I use brow powder first and then apply this gel to lock everything in—it keeps the color from fading and holds throughout the day. It also works beautifully on its own for a more natural, no-makeup look. A little goes a long way, and the tube lasts for months. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly eyebrow gel that performs like high-end brands, this is it! Doesn't hold at all. Falls flat minutes after applying. I 100% of the time have to use a different product to style brows. Ended up tossing out after a few months of off and on trying this "gel".

Ottimo prodotto

It fixes my rebellious eyebrows in place the way I set them. Love it! Just make sure that after applying it in the desired manner you let it dry off and set. Once it dries up, to reset the brow I apply a couple drops of water to make the eyebrow wet. It’s doing exactly what I wanted for me.

It fixes my eyebrows very well and doesn’t turn white or anything. It also doesn’t make my eyebrows fall

Fija bien pero no dura mucho tiempo…

Love it, no white cast, not too sticky. Can hold my eyebrows all day and great value for money.
