Koolehaoda 240mm Rail Nodal Slide Quick Release Plate Clamp Camera Tripod Bracket Mount Compatible with Arca Swiss, Angle Adjustable for Camera Tripod Ball Head (LCB-24R)

The perfect accessory to add to my iFootage monopod holding two Tail2 cameras. All metal construction with quick release plates makes set up a cinch and increases my confidence in holding the cameras without issue. The design is pretty simple and there is not much to say other than that it works for my particular needs. Price is a bit high for what it is, but there is very little choice for this type of thing. Other rail or slide brackets don't always tighten properly, leaving loose and sloppy attachments. This plate holds items securely thanks to the quick release plates.

I needed a system for my camera to adjust to a mounted teleprompter on a dual monitor bar. The prompter it attached to my monitor bar so I wanted to find an easy way to not just attach the camera but move it close to the prompter glass when needed. This did the trick. Because I’ve tried rails: not smooth. Dji plate that didn’t really slide in the tripod head: or adjustment was too far. So great to find this as it works great.

So far I am very impressed. It's adjustable! it's well built. It's less than buying different length slides. It's also thin enough you can carry it easily. Looking forward to testing it in June.

One of the reviewers gave this mount one star because he couldn't figure out how to attach it to his tripod. It fits to your tripod exactly the same way a quick release plate fits into the clamp. I made a quick, 20 second video that shows just how easy it is. If you don't want to attach it to your ball head, then simply take the ball head off and screw the mount onto the tripod's 3/8" screw. There is no need for adapters or any extra equipment; and there's DEFINITELY no need to spend any extra money (certainly not $200!!) to get this mount to work. It works fine out of the box and comes with the bar and the two quick release mounds that you see in the description and my photo. I took off one star due to the fact that one of the clamps isn't exactly straight on the mount bar and it seems to be welded or glued onto the bar (even though it has a hex screw). I can probably pry it off and straighten it up, but the buyer shouldn't have to do that. So, all in all, it's a good product. It's very sturdy and thick with nothing loose moving around. It does what it says it will do, it DOES fit on any standard tripod with no problem and it easily holds two heavy cameras (I mount my D500 with a 600mm lens and my D850 with a 400mm lens on it).

Marking on clamp is printed where it’s very hard to align with ruler marking unless you turn it upside down. It could be printed on chamfer or on the side. It’s well built, usage is not practice. Also the clamp requires wrench to rotate 90 degrees. It could have been coin screw which could be turned with a dime or thumb screw from other side. Clamp is not centered in the plate after mounting. As you tightened the clamp, it not sitting in center.

This rail is jam up. It’s a quality piece of machined gear. The coating reduces friction and there’s plenty room for several 1/4”-20 screws. I’d buy it again.

Solves parallax problems when shooting panos that need to be stitched together

I have to write this because I was really surprised about the quality of build The paint is extremely clean. The build is so solid enough to match a solidly built tripod. No slack at all and moves very smoothly as well. Worth more than the price I paid. Also appreciate the guy who delivered this tonight for his effort.
