This is a very sturdy Flagpole. That said you must take time to install the sleeve properly, especially if you live in an area that is susceptible to substantial amounts of wind. I live in Florida about a mile inland, and the wind can gust quite hard. My installation was somewhat sturdy, I used a round concrete form that was 8 x 24 inches, so first I dug a hole wide and deep enough for the form, while adding some room at the bottom for pea gravel for drainage. NOTE: Remember to have a 4 foot level. I used 4, 50 lb bags of quickrete. After all the preparations were made, it took about 45 minutes and the help if my neighbor to mix the quickrete and set the sleeve in the form, with some quickrete to surround the form itself. We checked that the sleeve was level with a small 12 inch level, and then held the longer level inside the sleeve to insure it was straight. Once all of this was complete, we waited about 36 hours before installing the flagpole into the sleeve. The installation of the flagpole itself was a very simple task, simply slide the pole down into the sleeve. While the pole is in this lowered position, now is the time to install the flag. If you plan on leaving the flag up 24x7, you will or should have some lights installed. If you are going to use one of the many solar styles, now is the time to remove the truck (ball at the top of the flagpole) and install your light (make sure you turn it on before you extend the pole). If you are going to put an Eagle at the very top, you may want to purchase some 1/2 x 13 all thread to allow for the additional length you will need to allow for all of the add-ons. The final step is just raising the flagpole and then just stand back and admire how beautiful the completed project looks. As a side note, I was worried that the 4x6 flag might be too big, so I called the manufacturer and was assured that the design of the pole can take this size. I also used an USAF flag below the US Flag, and saw that the USAF flag was collapsing because the large US Flag was pulling it up the pole. I took a hose clamp and attached it to the pole to prevent the USAF flag from riding up the pole, works great.

Titan provides some solid instructions on what you need to do before installing the telescoping flagpole. Before purchase, I made sure to dig the hole (14" by 14" wide by 28" deep) and insure there were no obstructions, like rocks. After digging the hole, I placed the order and was pleasantly surprised to have it delivered within 5 business days, and not the 10 to 15 days originally communicated in the purchase details. Once it arrived, we unpacked it and then went out and began installing the quick mix concrete. We took a lot of time insuring that the sleeve was leveled since this would have a long-term effect on the flagpole. We waited almost 3 days to make sure the concrete was cured (even though the manufacturer recommended 24 hours). It was very simple to use the twist lock sections on the flagpole itself and it has added a beautiful addition to our home since we can see the flag in all her glory anywhere from our yard. I highly recommend this Titan flagpole. Very sturdy and simple to install.

I got My old telescoping flagpole 5 1/2 years ago ( a lesser brand) it broke earlier this fall. For wat I spent on it I was surprised it lasted that long. My wonderful wife and kids got me the Titan 20’ flagpole kit for my birthday and Father’s Day gift! I wish I would’ve bought this one in the first place! At the base it’s a full inch wider in diameter than my old one. So I had to dig out the old sleeve and concrete.. that was not fun at all! But once the hole is dug it’s pretty easy to install 2 bag of concrete and a bag of gravel base and a little water, make sure it’s plumb. Let it set overnight and it’s done. The quality is head and shoulders above my old one.. so pleased don’t make my mistake. Pay the extra money and get the Titan. Do it once and not have to worry about it again.🇺🇸 it’s a beautiful addition to anyone’s yard.

My in-laws had bought this exact one at a home and garden show and we really liked it but thought they paid a bit too much for it. I decided to do some research online (a few years later) when we decided we wanted one and found this one on Amazon. It was about $150 cheaper than here in Canada for the exact same thing! Luckily we live close to the border so we were able to go over and pick it up at a UPS store there. The flagpole itself is extremely durable and very simple to extend and retract. You are also able to easily and completely remove the pole if need be. I does take a little work to prepare the ground for it but once it's done it's smooth sailing from there!

This is a top-of-the-line flagpole. Easy to install and you can tell by the size of the lowest section it is made of nice thick metal. I'm sure this flag pole will last a very long time. The American flag that came with it is a good quality one. Don't hesitate to buy this one as it's worth every penny.

Installed our 20' Titan over 3 years ago. Here on the high plains winds can be severe. The pole will flex with strong gusts, but it has not let us down! Impressed with it's durability.

American made with high quality materials. Fairly easy to install, remove, raise, lower and maintain. Telescoping pole without rope and pulleys to wear out. An anti theft locking device would be a good improvement.

The pole was exactly as advertised. Very easy to set up and install and looks great. My only issue is that it should be available with a Canadian Flag as it's sold on Amazon Canada - or at least have the option of selecting either a Canadian or SA flag.
