React Design Patterns and Best Practices, Second Edition 2nd ed. Edition

I've been a React developer for 4 years, entirely self-taught and the "most senior" web developer for a mid-sized company. I decided to read books to help plug any holes in my knowledge, starting with "Learning React", "React Hooks", and finally this book.Both Learning React and React Hooks dedicate 50% or more of their book to contrived 'hello world' level examples. The Learning React book makes sense since it's aimed at a more intro/mid-level; but this book hits a great balance between "remember the basics" and diving into deeper, more complex, examples.

It just goes over most of the fundamentals of React. May not worth your money compares to a month of frontend master's membership.

You need to have a good experience in React then only you should go for this book. It is not for immediate beginners or even intermediate players. Covers a vast variety of topics but chapters are very short 30 pages around as they don't touch much on the low level.

First, best practices change quickly. It lakes to show to use hooks with functions.There is a bit about server side rendering practice to apply. Then talking about Next.jsThere is some very good content skills inside, no the best book i read about "best practice" in general, but a good book that, if you are a beginner on React.js, sure you should learn many things with this book. Even if not the last "best practice", still some very good ones.It is a bit expensive for a book who is no more updated to the real best pratice to apply. But i consider it to be a good book about React.js.
