I received this yesterday and have already used it for scrambled eggs and to froth coconut oil in my coffee. It works great. It is stainless and very sturdy. It is small enough to fit into a coffee cup and only takes a few seconds to use. I read lots of reviews before choosing this brand. I made the right decision.

When whisking eggs with the hand push whisk, I noticed a black liquid in the eggs. I removed it and after washing it in the dishwasher, I held it on the counter and whisked it. I have a paper towel which has huge spots of black which came out of the handle. Can you help me figure out what this is?

UPDATE: I am retracting my last review, the manual whisk is terrible. The prongs on the whisk keep falling out. After I tried to replace the prongs, I began to push on it to make sure they wouldn't fall out again and a ton of RUSTY WATER came flying out of it. I will be returning. These both came in a brown box and was bubble wrapped separately. The manual whisk seems like it has metal springs that have a silicone cover on it. It's not as sturdy as I wanted it but it is not as bendy as othe silicone whisks are. The push whisk is pretty good, it works great although I wish the handle had a silicone cushion on it because the liger I was using it the more it was hurting the bones in my hand. And it would help to have a better grip on it. Also I saw at the bottom of the whisk some of the springs were not fully secure and started to move the more I used it. But I do like this product.

I bought this set mostly for the hand whisk because it's safe to use on Teflon or non-scratch surfaces, and it's good and sturdy. The hand push whisk I've used a couple times for pancake batter or to scramble eggs. My six-yr-old grand-daughter gets a kick out of using it. She thinks it's fun. It's easy to clean. It's not something I'd buy on it's own, but because it was a set, it's a good value.

These worked well while they lasted which wasn't long. I was very impressed with them at first. They both had a good weight to them and the whisk was one of my favorites, but after several months they started to leak rusty water. Perhaps, if you were very gentle hand washing them that wouldn't happen, but I don't feel comfortable using utensil until it has gone through the dishwasher.

I ordered this whisk for my wife to replace our older one which was looking pretty shabby. This one is of a better quality than the one it replaces. It has a nice solid heft to it and cleans up easily by hand. We like it a lot, and I'm pretty certain you will too.

Bought in Dec. already stopped working. Tried everything to get it working, but it remains in the down position. Loved it, now not so much.

I thought this would be great for my Bullet Proof Coffee but, moisture stays in the handle and black gunk comes out when you press down. I have washed and washed and still after sitting it still has moisture and the black juice flies everywhere when you press down. The whisk part is fine it is the up and down one that is the issue.
