This was my first time buying this salt after seeing someone use it on YouTube. Smoke sea salt sounded interesting so I bought it. As soon as I opened the package, I started salivating. It smells so delicious! I put it on my steak and I can’t tell you how incredibly delicious it is! OK, I’m going to admit this, but every once in a while, I’ll open up the container to smell it and then I dip my finger in for a few flakes to taste throughout the day. It’s good minerals for your body so it doesn’t hurt. It’s also so delicious! I will be buying this for the rest of my life.

Heard of this salt from a Tic Tock influencer. She was right, I am starting to put this on so many items. Enhances the flavor of what I use it on; best part is I am able to determine how little or how much.

Exotic product with excellent flavor.

The box arrived inside a flimsy mailer, so the cardboard packaging was completely crushed on it's journey. Looking at other reviews, this seems to happen fairly often. Thankfully the salt was contained within a plastic bag inside the box. I have since re-packaged it into glass spice jars (also from amazon). Other than the crushed box, I am very happy with the product. The salt has a light smoky flavor, an a flakey but still coarse texture, which enhances any dish I add it to. I have sprinkled it on savory dishes, like roasted chicken, but my favorite use by far has been in baking. A sprinkle of these on some chocolate chip cookies is just, absolute heaven. I'll be using a lot of this for my 2020 holiday baking, and will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Maldonado Smoked Sea Salt is for every recipe in which you would LOVE to add a Smokey flavor to. It’s not a really strong flavor, but it adds just enough for me. I love this product! I think it’s worth the price.

Wonderful smoky sea salt flavor! We eat a lot of tinned meats (sardines, mussels, octopus, etc.) - a sprinkle of salt seems to bring out the flavor. These are fresh, a good size for a spice shaker that I had on hand, and a wonderful addition to tinned meats!
