This leaves my carpet smelling lovely and fresh, the only reason I'm knocking off one star is that I wish the scent would last longer than a couple of hours. Otherwise, it is so easy to use and can't really complain for the money, fantastic if you have pets and want to freshen up the house before guests arrive.

I bought the 1001 Carpet Fresh Feel Energized spray mainly to use on the carpeted stairs, hoping the strong lemon scent would discourage my cat from scratching them. Unfortunately, it didn’t really achieve that. While the smell is definitely noticeable when first applied and gives a fresh, clean feel to the area, it didn’t seem to bother my cat at all—she carried on scratching as if nothing had changed. In terms of performance as a carpet freshener, it’s decent but not outstanding. The scent is quite pleasant and uplifting at first, but it fades quicker than I expected, especially in a high-traffic area like stairs. I found myself needing to reapply it more often than I would have liked to maintain that fresh smell. The spray does dry fairly quickly, which is a plus, and it’s convenient that you don’t have to hoover afterwards, although I personally still preferred to give the carpet a quick vacuum just to avoid any slight residue feeling underfoot. Overall, it works reasonably well as a short-term freshener, but it didn’t meet my main goal of stopping my cat from scratching. If you’re looking for a pet deterrent, this probably isn’t the right product, but for a quick refresh it’s acceptable.

A long-lasting carpet freshner which freshens up the whole house for 3 days approximately. Great for using after you have shampooed the carpets.

Love this product. It gave u a nice foam once you sprayed, but disappears! Leaving a very nice smell! Will definitely buy again :)
