THE DOWNLOW It’s 1st or nothing when it comes to racing. The Binary stem is light but maintains the strength and stiffness necessary to deliver consistent race-winning performance. This fully CNC-machined stem is made using our 8-BIT Alloy and has an incredibly precise bar interface that’s light enough for your race bike and strong enough for gravity rides. Available in 35mm or 50mm lengths and 31.8 or 35mm clamp diameters, the Binary stem uses a carbon and alloy friendly bar/stem interface with an increased clamping region. By increasing the size of the clamping area and utilizing our Controlled Clamping System we have created a stronger and more precise interface between your bar and steerer tube. CONTROLLED CLAMPING SYSTEM – Both the 8-bit and Binary stems use a our unique carbon and alloy friendly bar/stem interface with an increased clamping region allowing for the removal of unnecessary material. Our Controlled Clamping System has clear markings to ensure your bar is perfectly secured in a repeatable fashion each and every time the bar is removed. Through optimization of material usage and the Controlled Clamping System, we have created a light but strong stem with ultimate precision.
