Marron glacé naturally divided into 2 twin parts by the second inner skin, in a pack of 450 g / 15.87 oz. Excellent as a sweet snack or for making desserts. Very suitable for garnishing a slice of cake and make it even tastier. Agrimontana chestnuts come only from ain chestnut groves and are processed according to a procedure that is as fascinating as it is simple, carried out with respect for the natural rhythms of tradition. Gluten-free, kosher and halal product. Agrimontana chestnuts are processed fresh, without the use of sulphur dioxide. Agrimontana's master pastry chefs call this process "curatura", a name that well defines the skill and affection with which the various operations are carried out. After the "novena" (the phase in which the product is placed in water, recycled daily with its peel, in order to ripen the best aromatic notes), steam peeling is carried out, finished by hand. The final step is hot candying, without forcing, in full respect of the organoleptic characteristics of the precious chestnut fruit, which is embellished with a veil of cane sugar and Bourbon vanilla berries.
