is this better than the all purpose version?

Accepted Answer

According to the manufacturer's ingredient list, the Industrial cleaner has a slight higher ratio of surfactants and builders (mineral salts that raise pH) when compared to the All-Purpose cleaner. They're essentially the same, but the Industrial cleaner is slightly stronger at the same dilution factors. This matters more from a cost perspective if you're going to be going through gallons of the stuff every month.

Can this be used on kitchen cabinets?

the cool thing about Simple Green is that you can use it on JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. just figure out how much you'll need to dilute it, depending on the level of cleaning to be done. i've washed cars, floors, counters, tile and too many other things to number using SG! it's great stuff!

Is this safe and a good cleaner to use on a stone/brick walls I have in my basement?

As for safety...  I had a really nasty looking garage door .  Since greased lightning was handy, I a small areaspent a long time going over and over a small area slowly removing gunk until my hands and lungs where burning   I then bought a bottle of simple green in the automotive dept. as I remembered mechanics  using it to degrease  engines.  Within one evening the inside or the door looked brand new. it even cleaned the areas I had previously tried to clean...no burning of hands and lungs even though I was in an enclosed area.  My dad used it on his garage floor to remove car stains.  I can even use it safely around my birds.  In my basement I am cleaning it first with simple green and than a light washing with thieves cleaner to kill off mold.

Can this cleaner be used in a power washer?

I use it in a Husky 3000 psi washer for wood decks. It’s a guess because the washer itself dilutes. I use about a cup in the “soap” tank that makes a good foam with the “soap blaster” tip. I let a good drenching soak for 30-60 minutes and might add a bit more, but don't worry too much, for actual power wash with  25° tip because a large of water gets used and I think it’s most effective to have the concentrated cleaner pre-treat the wood. Works great. Follow with ~10% oxalic acid, .8-1 lb (just under 3 cups) per gallon applied with mop or brush mop.
