Do these come with the speaker grills/covers?

Are these speakers suitable replacements for 4x6 rear deck speakers in a 1983 Porsche 911? Do they come with the grills as shown?

Yes the are supplied with speaker grills I installed then in an 1989 nissian 240. As you can see you are able toCut the outer edges to fit your application as they are a universal fit speaker. They sound pretty good for the small size. Since I do not know the hole dimensions on your particular vehicle it's a grey area to me. Have a dermel tool on hand for the trimming as dikes will not make the cut.Hope this helpsDean W

do they put out any bass

Not a bass speaker. Just highs and mids. They sound way better than stock speakers and can hear some bass out of them.

Purchased for a 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible. These speakers were recommended by a Mercury Cougar group as being almost exactly the stock size. The big issue in putting speakers in the door is how the window glass is able to clear the speaker (make a mistake and you glass goes kaboom). These speakers fit perfect, no obstruction with the window and sound awesome.
