Kickass Amp under 400 bucks
I play this amp through a 12” Fane 30 speaker mounted inside an Avatar 1x12 standard cab. Very impressed by both the clean and drive channels. Best part is reducing the volume (either channels) does not make the sound muddy. My music genre is EC, Cream and I usually play humbuckers through this amp. Also has send and return that works perfectly with the Fractal FX8. To get the cleanest of the clean Fender sounds from this amp, I play it through a ElectroVoice EVM12L. And then use the FX8 to add drive and other effects. Very impressive amp at less than 400 bucks.

Great sounding amp 'til it breaks after the 30 day money back guarantee
This amp started crackling around day 45 (not obvious tube problem). No more money back and the amp head was now out-of-stock. ONE YEAR REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE.......what a laugh......, the prominent banner on MONOPRICE is 100% BS, They will offer you store credit for useless items. BUYER BEWARE.

Buy Three!
Go ahead and buy three or four of these amps if you can. That way you might have MAYBE ONE to use while the others are being shipped back to be repaired or swapped out for another one that will surely fail. And when it does fail, like both of mine have - one minute past warranty they will offer you a discount on the same amp! Like the 2 defective ones I dealt with weren’t enough. They wanted me to purchase another! They didn’t seem to care about the situation. Didn’t even try. My experience with Monoprice was extremely disappointing. Enough so that I will never purchase any product from them ever again. Ever. At least I have parts.

A lot of amp for the money to be sure
I purchased one directly from Monoprice. It came loaded with 5881s instead of 6l6s. Clean channel is fantastic. It reminds me quite a bit of a silverface twin I had years ago. The drive channel is ok, but not my cup of tea. It has that fender/mesa fizz that you just can't dial out. So.....what you have is a lot like an old Bassman 50, but much cheaper. Keep an eye on the price as they change/go on sale pretty often. If you get it for under $300 it's a steal.

You won’t believe how amazing this amp is!!
It’s well made, beautiful, and all tube . Replaced Marshall 2205 and I’m happy with the replacement. Did not expect it to perform so wonderfully. The clean channel is very Fender-y. And with the tone controls you can get whatever you need out of it. And speaking of tone controls the separate tone controls for the dirty channel are extremely active. Both channels take pedals well. You WON’T be sorry you made this purchase.Best bang for your buck EVER. I have boutique amp heads that don’t compare.

Does not work
I just received this amplifier today and it doesn't work! And I'm pissed! I've had really good luck with Amazon for five years except for last 4 months. This is the fourth expensive item that has turned out to be a big disappointment . I just received a PRS Archon 50 from Sweet Water and it's awesome. I thought I was getting a deal on this amp but it's a dud. I guess I know where to buy music gear from here on!

Poor quality build. Good clean channel
I purchased this direct from Momoprice. Everything worked fine for several months but the first time I used the return jack it malfunctioned and won't disengage. I have to loop a cord to the send from the return for it to work. Recently the dirty channel's volume dropped very low. I replaced all the tubes but that didn't fix it so it will have to go to a repair shop. The clean is good but the dirty channel was weak. Definitely not what I consider a high gain amp. Perhaps mine is just a lemon. I'll post more after it is fixed. If it cost more the 200$ to fix I'll likely burn it in my fire pit.

This is a very solid amp
The first thing you notice is the weight. It's a very good tube amp. I own boogie, blackstar and Traynor amps. It's built as good as Any amp I have and the clean channel is very good and so is the dirty channel. Good stuff.
