This has been such a helpful resource for our homeschool routine. I don't use it straight through cover to cover-instead, I break it up and spread the lessons out over the year so it doesn't feel overwhelming. The nice thing is that it covers a little bit of everything: math, reading, spelling, writing, and more, so I can easily pull a page that matches whatever subject we're focusing on that day. I really like that it's thorough without being too repetitive, and it gives me confidence that I'm hitting the basics while still leaving room to add on other resources or activities when I want. My child responds well to the layout-it's clear, straightforward, and not cluttered, which makes it less intimidating. If you're looking for a well-rounded workbook that can grow with your second grader throughout the year, this one is definitely worth having on the shelf.

This is the second book of this brand that I've used for homeschooling my kid. Pretty good for what it is.

I think it's great for homeschooling has a little bit of everything. Pretty easy to do and also has an answer key.

I did a review on a different level of these books. I really do like them for a refresh or to help with mastery of skills for each grade level. A wonderful tool.

Nice Product

I can really appreciate this workbook. My son works through it with ease as it’s very colorful and easy on the eyes. I’d call it kid friendly.

I like to keep my granddaughter ahead of her class so that she knows what her curriculum is beforehand. The book does its job!

My husband had found the 4th grade workbook from this publisher at a thrift store, and I really liked it, so I ordered it for my son who is 8. We homeschool, and i usually like to have a handful of these types of workbooks for extra practice. But, truthfully, I use this at my basis, as my starting point, and build off of this for reading and language arts. I just really like the way that it progresses, and there's no fluff. I will continue to utilize these workbooks in the future!
