I recently purchased the Sollice third-party battery for my trusty Dell L502x laptop, and I must say, it's been a solid investment. As a value-oriented individual, I was drawn to the affordability of the Sollice battery without compromising on performance. The installation was a breeze, and it seamlessly integrated with my aging laptop. This budget-friendly option breathed new life into my decade-old device, allowing it to continue functioning with remarkable stability. In terms of battery life, I observed approximately 2 hours of usage under light tasks, which met my expectations for the price point. While it might not match the original battery's longevity, it certainly provides ample power for short stints away from an outlet. The ability to keep my aging laptop operational is a significant win, and the Sollice battery proved to be a cost-effective solution for extending the life of my Dell L502x. I'm giving it a solid 4/5 stars for its affordability, ease of installation, and the boost it gave to my aging laptop's longevity.

This was an exact replacement for the OEM part on my Dell laptop. This battery pack installed easily and is retaining a charge unlike my old battery.

Battery charged up like it was supposed to, but the charge indicator lights require pushing the button in just the right angle. It is defective in the button. Will see if it continues to be questionable, or if I send it back for an exchange.

I ordered this expecting a standard 6 cell battery like the old laptop battery was. Imagine my surprise when I got this and it was a 9 cell battery! In theory, it should last 50% longer than the original battery. I don't doubt that it will, I have never ran it down but I have ran it on the battery for 3+ hours, not bad for a 10 year old laptop! Would I buy it again? I sure would, it is better than I expected it would be!

Im not sure how to rate it. I came precharged but has never charged above 0% in my laptop. Not once.

The cost of battery replacement with Dell is ridiculously high, probably higher than the current value of my 6-years old laptop. This seller offers battery replacement at a much more descent price. The battery was delivered on-time, and for about 8 months it performed superb. However, at some point, the charging indicator started showing that the battery will not charge 100%, although the battery still worked. I contacted the seller and received almost immediate response. After the battery did not pass the test suggested by Pete, he sent a replacement. To summarize, the battery started showing problems in less than a year. However, the seller firmly upholds the warranty. The replacement was sent and delivered in an expedient manner. Adding to that the reasonable price, I will definitely consider purchasing from this seller again, and will recommend SOLICE to friends.

I purchased this product a week back and it is in use since day 1. I have Dell XPS L501X. It holds charge for about 4+ hrs with normal browsing and few applications running. I was not expecting anything more than that and I am happy with the purchase. I will surely recommend this product to all Dell XPS owners. Review update (12/9/2017): I have been using this product for over a month now and it is still working as good as it was on day 1. I did charge it fully and discharged till 5% for 2 to 3 times and now it holds charge for 4+ hours. I will still recommend this product to all Dell XPS owners.

I'm not impressed with how long the charge lasts ... and I'm not sure if will continue to improve. My original OEM battery was draining in about 28 min, so I figured I had nothing to loose. I charged this new battery, from the start, over night. With a movie playing (on the HD), the PC went to sleep at 3% - after 1hr 28 min. The movie wasn't done. I recharged again, overnight, and then ran a 2nd movie, also on the HD. It lasted 1hr 22 min before the PC went to sleep at 3%. I recharged a third time, but this time I lowered the brightness on the screen somewhat. The 3rd movie (on the HD), lasted 1hr 45 min. I recharged overnight and again I lowered the brightness slightly more. The 4th movie lasted 1hr 54 min. The 5th recharge, and no movie running - just me surfing the web - yielded 2hr 25 min. I suppose I have no complaint since the original battery was down to 28 minutes of use.
