Small Pocket Knife, EDC Knife with Stainless Steel and Wood Handle, Small Folding Knife, Blade Length1.5in

Bought this knife as a tiny key chain knife. I am something of a collector and own many high end knives that are too valuable to use for utility tasks (safe queens). For daily box cutter, utility use I stick with Buck, Gerber, Kershaw, etc. class knives. Wearing dentures, I often need a knife just to cut something (like a candy bar) into manageable pieces while I'm at events where a "real" knife would not be allowed... This knife was a pleasant surprise. It's no bigger than the keys on my key ring! The bolster and spring were so tight it was difficult to open/close. Using Tri-Flow and a needle applicator, I lubed the pivot, bolsters and spring repeatedly while opening and closing the blade about 100 times, wiping off the metal dust and reapplying Tri-Flow as needed. It now opens and closes easily while the spring holds the blade fairly securely in either position (about the same as a Swiss Army knife). It was surprisingly sharp out of the box and, since it is stainless steel, should hold an edge fairly well. The blade has little to no side play and, the finish and construction are no worse than the average buck knife. The chain was junk so, I removed it and hung it on my keychain with a snap ring... It's a bit smaller than I expected but, the quality makes up for it and, it's perfect for my needs.

I purchased this for the size - small enough to fit into a small purse. The knife is small, cute and I like the ability to attach to key tags. The knife is well made, and opens and closes easily enough. The only negative - it is not very sharp. However, since I have this for ancillary purposes (carry in my purse for cutting strings) it’s not really necessary to have a really sharp knife. This is not a knife one carries for security purposes - but to cut small things when you do not have access to a larger/sharper knife.

Perfect size pocket knife -- lightweight and small enough to attach on keychain and keep in pocket. Fairly sharp blade for opening mailers and small boxes. Overall well crafted and nice finish. Box label indicates made in China. The bad part... the locking lever (see attached photo) requires a fair amount of pressure to release the blade from its fully extended, locked position. Hopefully with use over time the locking mechanism will loosen up to make closing the blade effortless.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I grew up in an era when men normally carried a small pocket knife. My old (nearly identical) pocket knife decided to hide from me, and after looking for several weeks, I decided to buy a new one. It’s well made, nicely stiff, and a convenient 2” size. Like my old knife, it does well on envelopes, taped packages, and dull pencils.

Nice enough to keep on my keychain for awhile. It's cute and I like the wood; it's nice and smooth. The blade is a bit dull and it's almost too small to use easily. It shut on me while using it the other day and I got cut. A locking blade would be good. But you get what you pay for. I doubt it will hold up very long on a key chain, but time will tell.

This knife is not bulky in your pocket and it is very sharp. Very handy for small projects.

Decant knife, worth the price. Exactly the pocket sized knife I was looking for. Shipping through amazon was horribly slow for some reason but it wasn't something I needed. Worth the money I'd buy again. 5 star seller
