These bulbs provide a subtle ambiance to a lamp/light fixture. They'll not light the room completely; rather, wash the glow around the room. They have a low clearance which fit a challenging lamp shade and was the intent for seeking this small profile bulb. This was a good find for a multiple of challenges to meet.

Had to get these for a lamp that I recently purchased! Low wattage bulbs. These are a great wattage for reading @ night. And keeping a lamp on night! Not too much light. Just enough. Not too bright & not too dim either. Just right! Especially at night. The light emitted from these bulbs will have you feeling cozy at night. The warmth that these bulbs bring to a room is subtle but enough. Seem to have a long life span also compared to higher wattage bulbs too! They dont flicker. And the value for the money is there! Get these if your looking for a low light while reading at night or just want a great ambiance.

Puts out low level light, great for night light

Love the low wattage for evening when winding down. Set the mood for the evening of relaxation and a good nights sleep! Works great! I have extra in case I wanna place some somewhere else in my home. Excellent lightbulb!
