This is an OEM replacement
This is an exact OEM replacement for B&S filter original part number: 593435, which is actually printed on this filter. The filter came in a Briggs & Stratton box with part number 792105 printed on the end flap. The two part numbers are an exact cross number match. Filter 792105 fits perfectly on my 22 HP B&S engine.

Better than aftermarket
I bought a used simplicity tractor, and someone had put an aftermarket filter in that didn't seal correctly. I was getting a lot of dirt sucked into my intake. This one fit properly and solved that problem.

Reasonable cost but was an extremely tight fit requiring a lot of manipulation and gentle taps with a rubber mallet.

Briggs & Stratton OEM!!!
Identical Briggs replacement air filter for 2017 Husqvarna Z248F powered by Briggs 23hp Endurance engine (model 440000 series). Part # 593435 is what my motor came with & that is what I received in a brand new Briggs OEM box. Attached photos show my current air filter and what Briggs parts manual says. Briggs manual shows different part #, part # 593240. I’ve come to the conclusion (after a week or 2 of research) that this part has a quite a few different part numbers for the same identical part. A different page in the same parts manual calls for part # 792105. So order with confidence if any of the 3 part #s, 593240, 593435 or 792105 are what you are looking for. Spark plug hunting for this model is even worse with the many different part #s!
