Polyhedral 7-Die Scarab Chessex Dice Set - Jade with Gold Chx-27415

I'm a superstitious gamer. I always order a new set of dice whenever I start a new campaign, and I never even take them out of the box until the DM calls for me to make a roll. At that time, I will break the plastic seal, take out the newly-minted dice, and roll them out onto the table. Well last weekend, the DM asked me to roll initiative and this one--this beautiful green and gold d20--threw a perfect natural 20. On its first roll ever. Nonsense, you say? You're entitled to your opinion, but I can't hear it over the sound of my critical hits. Weird dice rituals aside, I always use Chessex dice because they are the most durable and best-looking dice in the world. I have three different sets (and counting), and this one is by far the best one yet. The gold lettering with the green and gold plastic really looks elegant, especially in a black velvet dice bag. The dice arrived a full day ahead of the estimated delivery date, and they arrived in excellent condition. Beautiful dice that roll nice and high, delivered on time, for a great price...what more could a gamer ask for?

These dice are quite beautiful. I love the color green and these are the perfect shade. The color of my dice are somewhere in between Amazon's picture and the costomer picture - not too dark and not too bright. They certainly don't have as much blue as the Amazon picture, which I like. I have the blue blood with gold set as well, and while these might not be considered as shiny/flashy, their contrasting colors and beauty is easier to see in low light. If you look carefully you can almost see grass, vines, or algea/seaweed in them. It makes for a wonderful effect and can really spark the imagination. Overall I like these dice very much and I'm very happy I bought them.

Great little set of dice! Very nice emerald/jade coloring

These truly are beautiful dice. I would say the image here provided by amazon is slightly more blue and is lighter in color. They are a dark, rich, shimmering emerald green that is hard to capture on camera. They have depth to them, as in the color seems to "seep" into the dice when you hold it to the light. There is also a hint of blue on some of them that goes so well with this shade of green. The colors remind me of a deep evergreen forest. This set of dice makes me want to be a collector, would highly recommend!

Beautiful forest green dice. The numbers are legible and nicely painted. They are more evenly marbled and uniform in color than it shows in the photo. I tried to take a picture, but dice are hard to photograph! The different greens and blacks are very finely marbled together, so there's not as large of a color distinction as is shown in the picture. I also bought the Gemini black-green dice, which are more of a leafy green than these, which are more of a forest evergreen color. The Scarab Jade dice are also more finely marbled than the Gemini dice.

I love Chessex dice, they feel good to roll they aren't too heavy, however it kind of disappoints me that the numbers on the dice are slightly messed up. I'm probably going to keep them since it doesn't seem to affect how they roll and returns are always a hassle. I do really like the color of the dice though it's very pretty. But overall I'm kinda meh about them because if the numbers.

Green is my favorite color so I wanted to find a nice deep green set of dice. This set was perfect! It's got some slight tone variations with the swirls and the gold lettering fits very well. I found some small inking imperfections with the numbering but I don't take off any stars for that because nearly all my dice have the same issue (regardless of the brand or where they were bought). They're going to be well loved.

Very pretty. The green is very dark and almost metallic sheen to it. The gold numbers are well done on most. The d6 the paint isn't the same brilliant gold as the others but it is still very visible. The dice are opaque so be sure to test the balance in salt water. My d20 came up to be unbalanced skewing to the 18. Which isn't horrible for me, but the 18 is close to the 2 and the 5 so if I am having a bad night... well. You know.
