Solid rod
What size reel should I pair this rod with?

Decent quality stiff rod that collapses for travel!
I’ve been looking for a decent collapsible rod for years since Shimano discontinued their Exage series.I think this is almost as good. It seems to be built with high quality. Quite stiff for high sensitivity with braided lines. Casts well. I have no complaints. I bought a number of cheap Chinese ones over the years and all of them have broke prematurely in my opinion. This one is definitely built stronger.I caught this beauty on my third cast with this rod. It handled the fight admirably! Very happy.

Faulty set. Instantly broke upon first use.
Rod tip broke instantly upon first ever fish bite. Figured was a faulty unit. Seller automatically sent a new piece and works perfectly!

Surprisingly Amazing !
Fantastic for what it is. Handy for an occasional cast. Had no problem landing a cutthroat trout in the Elk river.
