Alex Stern returns in another tale of murder and dark magic set among the Ivy League elite. Review: Hell Bent - Yess to anything Leigh Bardugo! the book was in good condition and floppy and the story is as addicting as book 1!!! Review: Can’t wait for the next one! - The pace was a little slow in the beginning but I loved it since I was able to notice so many small details that were later quite important to the plot. I loved how we were able to see the friendship between Dawes and Alex develop and how they were more like a family to each other. I really loved the twists and turns in the story and how they were able to bring a certain someone back. There were so many parts that left me speechless and I can’t say much without spoilers so if you wanna find out what happened, pick it up but make sure you read the first book in the series first!

The book's perfect. The pages could have been of a better quality, but beautiful nonetheless.

It's Paperback, not Library Binding!
Seller was good but it's not library binding, I am not sure why Amazon is showing book under Library binding. I wanted hardcover but Paperback quality isn't bad too.

I highly recommend this book
It has everything you need in a fantasy/ mistery book. It is not repetitive, or including romance just to fill in some gaps. If you're into the occult, you have to read this 👌

Hell bent adventure
Hell Bent was incredible from start to finish and I loved it so much more than Ninth House. It was a wonderful storyline and I'm in awe of the incredible characters that we've gotten to know further in Hell Bent. I loved all the insights into their past and what shaped them as people. I'm very curious to see what Dead Beat will have in store for us. Nevertheless, this book is filled with heavy subjects, so make sure you're in the mood for it when you read it. I'm now going to dive into something fun and light-hearted to balance it out.

A Return to Yale’s Hidden World
After thoroughly enjoying Ninth House, I couldn’t wait to continue Alex Stern’s story in Hell Bent. Returning to the world of Yale’s secret societies felt like stepping back into a place that was both familiar and full of new dangers. At first, I found myself a little thrown off by the way the story bounced between different events, timelines, and perspectives. It felt more fragmented than its predecessor, and I occasionally wondered where everything was leading. However, it didn’t take long for me to realize that this structure was not only intentional but necessary. As the pieces began to come together, the shifting narrative created a richer and more rewarding reading experience, allowing the larger story to unfold in ways that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Leigh Bardugo expands the world established in Ninth House while raising the stakes considerably. The mysteries run deeper, the supernatural elements become even more compelling, and the relationships between the characters continue to evolve in meaningful ways. Alex remains one of the most intriguing protagonists I’ve encountered in recent fiction, and watching her navigate increasingly dangerous situations kept me fully invested. What began as an interest in secret societies has become an appreciation for the entire series. Hell Bent builds upon everything that made Ninth House memorable while carving out its own identity. By the final pages, I was completely absorbed and eager to see where the story goes next. If you enjoyed Ninth House, Hell Bent is a worthy successor that rewards patience and delivers another fascinating journey into the hidden world beneath Yale’s surface.
