Works great, easy install. Washing machine used to shake the house when the pump turned on/off, now it's silent. Lasted about 18 months before needing to replace.

These are easy to install and work as advertised. A great value when you need help eliminating banging pipes when doing wash.

Works well. Completely eliminated water hammer from my washing machine. Seems well made. 90 degree keeps the hoses out of the way to keep the machine closer to the wall.

Excellent. Completely cured severe water hammer I was experiencing with my washer and dryer. I hadn't realised these types of device are now required by code... my appliance supplier who fitted my washer and dryer had said nothing. Water tight first time.

This past summer I needed to replace our washing machine. We purchased a top loading Whirlpool unit. Coincidentally my son had to replace his a month later. He purchased the same machine. Every time the water started to fill or stopped filling the machine, there was a loud banging sound. This did not occur with the previous machine. My son said he had the same issue with his new machine but not his old machine. I Googled the problem and I learned of the water hammer effect. I purchased this product. It was easy to install and it immediately fixed the problem.

They seem to be of good quality materials. I installed this on an outside faucet that had a water timer on it and when it shut off it would rattle the pipes. It helped a little but did not cure the issue. Probably needs a bigger dampener. Don't think these little dampeners are enough to make any difference.

Easy to install Do the job perfectly

Having just bought a new LG Washer, a brand notorious for Water Hammer, I looked long and hard at the many products available, and am glad I chose a pair of these. If possible, they are best installed on the washing machine itself, by removing the water hoses on the washing machine, replacing with these, then attaching the hoses to these Arrestors. Of course, turn off the hot and cold water first, and have a bucket underneath to catch the water as you first remove the hoses. I bought Milwaukee 6" slip joint pliers just for this job, and they fit perfectly at full jaw opening. The pliers will be a welcome addition for any outdoor garden hose-related issues.

I've used this for 2 seasons now and it has eliminated the pipes banging when my sprinkler timer would shut off. Without this, the pipes would bang so loud it would wake the entire household. Now, the taps shut off and you don't even notice! I hope it lasts for a long time.
