Nordic-C [Valo] Arctic Berry Face Oil - Antioxidant-Rich, Hydrating Serum with Vitamin C, Vitamin E & Hyaluronic Acid - Replenishes and Plumps Dry Skin - Vegan Skin Care (30 ml)

I really like this product. It moisturizes my face.

I bought this on a Lightning Deal (HA! 10 points for Amazon, since I only saved a dollar from the current regular price of $20), but I don't even mind because it's THAT GOOD. So, I won't exactly say that it makes the skin "glow" any more than using any other light, easily absorbed facial oil, but I am blown away by how pleasant this stuff is. To summarize: - not too many scary ingredients, - not sticky, absorbs fast and is very lightweight, - the 'shake-to-blend' before use aspect isn't too annoying, - will take me about 2 months to use the container (using 2 pumps each morning & evening) - reusable container (if you want to use an online recipe to make your own facial oil). - sadly, not (yet) listed on the Skin Deep database (ewg.org), but most ingredients are fairly self-explanatory I've never used facial oil before - always thought they'd be too greasy for my skin - but I am now a convert. If someone would make an SPF version, I'd be set. Works really well in humid and dry climates - best if applied right after face-washing when the skin has that moistness still intact. Who knew that an impulse buy on a Lightning Deal would be so good.

I look forward to using this Vitamin C/arctic berry product on my face after my showers. I LOVE the citrusy fragrance (I much prefer fruit or vegetable (cucumber, for ex) scented products to flowery scents which I find are very often too strong and overpowering). I'm perfectly happy to shake the bottle to distribute the two solutions. I put a single pump on the fingertips of one hand and distribute on both sets of fingertips before applying to my face in light, upward strokes. The Valo product goes on easily at first and when it starts to become absorbed and less able to being moved easily (as with any other facial product that gets absorbed), I taper off on the pressure. I finish up with a daily facial moisturizer and/or sunscreen. This product by Valo is priced reasonably (VERY reasonably compared to some similar products) and I enjoy using it, so I'll definitely be buying it again. FYI: I am in NO way related to the manufacturer or any vendor, and have NOT been given the product for free in exchange for my review. It was bought and paid for out of my own pocket. I have, however, been using facial moisturizers and various other products on my face since 1970, so I know of which I speak. I hope you enjoy this product too!

I have been using this serum and a top brand moisturizer both for years. My skis is soft and bright and I get compliments on it and on not looking my age - 59 this year. However, the price has really gone up without a lot of explanation as to why. Still worth it, but hurts in the wallet a bit more than it used to! Would give it a 5 but the price makes it a 4 instead.

Love this product. Picked this up when I was visiting Lapland, Finland in 2024 and have loved using this product. Light on your face, not oily at all. Provides great hydration. I use it once in the morning and again at night. It’s the first product I put on my face and then apply products and makeup on top. Face feels well hydrated and has an excellent healthy glow. Facial person even commented how good my face looks.

I have ordered this so many times! I use it at night and in the morning before sunscreen/moisturizer, and it definitely adds more hydration.

I decided to try something different from the standard cremes and moisturizers. I have sensitive skin on my face and neck but as the recent reviews were so positive, I was excited to try this. The scent is pleasant and light and the serum goes on smoothly and absorbed fairly quickly. It did make my skin feel hydrated and smooth without any heavy greasy feel. However, I had to discontinue using it as after 3 days as I broke out in small itchy bumps. Almost like an acne breakout/rash. I thought maybe it might be from the combination of the serum with the retinol creme I use. Mind you I don't use retinol daily, more like 3x a week. I used witch hazel and a rosewater toner only, for a week to clear up the 'rash' and used the serum only. Unfortunately, the same result happened within hours as well as patches of roughness along my cheekbones.
