Boots fit well, are comfortable and have withstanded 6 months of industrial maintenance work while being exposed to milling coolant and metal finishing chemicals. Would buy again.

Just about the best work shoes ever. I have two pair of redwing boots that I have had for quite sometime and they are great but at 73 they are starting to get just too darn heavy. These boots provide great base sturdy and flexible at the ankle. They lace up great and are very comfortable. I am a narrow width so I had to add a pad to build the shoes up a bit but other than that I could not be happier.

Great purchase! The item arrived exactly as described and the quality exceeded my expectations. It was easy to use, works perfectly, and feels well made. I’ve been very happy with it so far and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something reliable and worth the price.

My boyfriend uses these for his work as a contractor. At first he was disappointed because they were almost to tight in the 'toe box' and they were pretty uncomfortable. Then the third day of wearing them (he is very brutal on his shoes) he comes inside the house, carhart pants wet and says with a big smile, 'I love my new shoes!' He said ' I just washed off the deck and my feet are still dry! Also, they are a lot more comfortable after they've been worn for a few days. Yes, I would get another pair. Thanks babe!' The ONLY negative I really hoped would not happen is that since theyre waterproof his sweat makes his feet smell horrible again. I bought these for him because the last shoes were so old and they smelled so bad. I was mortified when I discovered them but he had been wearing them without a complaint. So when I smelled them when I was outside on the deck, I was determined to find him new boots. Of course he is extra picky with the way they look, similar to a woman with her purse. Soo after searching for days on end he finally said yes to these boots. Now I know waterproof anything means it won't get in so sweat won't get out right? Wrong! Many boot makers make them now so the sweat and air can escape but water can't get in. Therefore the foot can breathe and prevent the 'trench foot' smell from bacteria. So after a week and a half the smell is back. Bummer. So they get to live outside and I'm back to searching again. Sucks because the boots he needs are $150+ and we are on a tight budget like the rest of the world. That's why I like these. So that's my two cents.

Very comfortable, great work boots

I highly recommend these work boots. They’re very well made, extremely durable, and have held up better than many other boots I’ve owned—even some that cost significantly more. As a construction superintendent, I wear them every day. I’m not constantly working in the trenches, but they still see daily use on the job. I typically get about a year out of each pair, and I usually wear out the tread before the uppers wear out. What I appreciate most is that the uppers stay intact. Unlike many other work boots I’ve owned, they don’t separate or come apart over time, which has been a common issue for me. I do use a Sof Sole insole, but that’s because of my feet—not because there’s anything wrong with the boots. If you need additional arch support or cushioning, those insoles are easy to find online.

I purchased these boots back in 2021 when I started tiling, I initially got them as work boots. Since then I have worn them almost every day, I’ve taken them on some pretty serious hikes and on all sorts of adventures, and abused them daily on construction sites. And they have taken it all so well!! I’ll include a picture of how they look today after 4 years of daily use. They are definitely getting worn and I’m definitely going to order a new pair at some point. But the soles are still in decent shape and ohhhh they are comfy!! They’ve definitely shaped to my foot and I love it. I keep them permanently loose-laced and they slip on and off great. That’s just personal preference. I am super super happy with these boots and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone. Update: these boots probably could have lasted me another 6 months at least but I decided to get a new pair rather than buy new insoles for the old ones. I am so so happy with them! I’ll include pics of the new ones next to the old. Note the old ones were brown, new ones are black. The new boots feel very comfy and I’m excited to break them in. I happily expect to wear these boots daily for the next 4-5 years!

When I bought these shoes I was replacing a pair of Carhartt boots that I had worn out after several years of almost constant wear. Whether it was yard work, gardening, taking walks, even going to the casino, those were my shoes of choice. When I went to replace them I found that they were no longer available. When I got these, they were very comfortable and I had hope that they'd be a good replacement. The first issue I had with them were that they have fine grooves in the tread that almost defy cleaning. You won't get them clean with simply wiping them on a mat like the previous boots. But let them dry then walk through the house and you will find a trail of dirt behind you! Then, as I was cutting the grass a couple of days ago, I walked through an area of the yard that was a bit swampy from all of the recent rain I felt my foot get slightly wet. After I finished the job. I put the boots in a tub with a slight amount of water in it so I could thoroughly clean the soles. When I went to clean them, the inside of the one boot was definitely wet while the other was dry. So much for waterproof. I have only owned these for about 7 months. I'm retired and at 74 I definitely am not putting them through the stresses of someone working in any of the building trades. These boots have been a disappointment and were replaced with something that I HOPE will last a lot longer.
