The item matches the description; however, the 2-pin plug is not compatible with the Australian RAV4 2020. The product description should be updated to reflect this, as similar issues have been mentioned in other reviews.

Installed on 2025 Rav4 Hybrid. Works and looks great. Included instructions are pretty much worthless. Fortunately there are many YouTube videos covering installation. Installation is fairly easy except for threading a wire thru the body-to-hatch flexible boot. Took more time than the all the rest of the install (refer to the various install videos for tips). Great value for the cost.

This appears to be the right connector for the older rav4 gen 5s that had the switch built into the cargo light. But not the newer ones with no switch

4 stars as installation challenges and lack of detailed instructions. Fishing the wire is difficult and takes time... would be great if they included fishing cable to make it a bit easier. Do not try and fish wire through rubber grommet on the right where washer fluid line runs as this has a very tight seal at one end and would be very difficult. Used the left grommet where there is existing electrical wires running... just be careful to protect those wires from wear and tear on the sharp metal edge while working the wire through. Opted to pull down back ceiling as this made installation much easier. So far product works well and fits good. I recommend but just understand what you are getting into installation wise.
