You know that tiny floor scratch you try not to look at every day? This kit is basically therapy for that. It comes surprisingly well stocked. Markers, wax sticks, filler putty, scraper, sanding block. This is not one of those minimal “three crayons and good luck” repair kits. You actually get multiple tools and materials that let you choose the right approach depending on the damage. The putty spreads smoothly, holds its shape, and sands down cleanly once dry. The scraper and sanding block are genuinely usable and not just filler items in the box. The real strength of the kit is the variety of repair mediums. Light surface scratch can be handled with a marker. Slight chip works well with a wax stick. Small gouge is where the putty shines. For everyday cosmetic damage on floors, cabinets, tables, and doors, it performs very well. Color matching takes some patience. There are plenty of shades included, but perfect matching is not automatic. You may need to blend colors or test in a hidden area first. Dark woods are easier to work with. Light oak and gray tones require more trial and adjustment. It will not make damage completely invisible under bright lighting and close inspection, but from normal viewing distance the improvement is dramatic. For the price and the sheer number of included pieces, this kit offers strong value. It will not replace professional refinishing, but it significantly reduces the visual impact of scratches and small flaws. A practical, affordable way to refresh worn surfaces without turning it into a major project.

I put this immediately to the test as soon as I got it. Man, this kit has everything to do some touch up on furniture. My office desk had a few scratches on it and I decided to repair it. I ended up using the crayons and the markers. Since they weren't deep scratches, I didn't need to use the wood filler. As you can see, I am no expert but if you look at the last picture, it can really make a difference. Extremely happy with purchase!

Exceptional value as it has all the necessary fixes for furniture that is nicked up, scarred, or otherwise needing a refresh. Worked well with Howards Restore A Finish to refresh some 1920's era William and Mary replicas. The wood fillers worked fine, the marker pens leave semi permanent markings that can be coverd over without removal by Restore a Finish. Guessing a quick acting solvent. No smell, and the wax pencils also work to soften remarked edges. Well worth it.

Not as easy as it may seem

Perfect for fixing and color matching scratches. We are getting ready to sale our house and our floors needed some small repairs. This has been great and fairly easy to use. I even fixed some spots on our dining room table.
