Good fat balls
Great value for money and the birds love them

Good quality fatballs
These seem good quality, and for the quantity and price, that is definitely a good thing. They came in one big box, but inside were two smaller boxes (each one, I assume, holding 150 fat balls). My bird visitors have been eating me out of house and home this year, so being able to buy this large quantity is great.

Satisfied
OK these are not quite as good quality as the ones I usually get as they have less seeds but they are the same size and the birds still like them (the photo shows the new one at the top of the feeder against one of my usual ones below) and the fat is important to feed to them in winter anyway. They are quite good value though as they work out at 8p each as opposed to12p. The box arrived on time and in good condition with almost no broken ones although I can't see what's at the bottom yet. As I think it might be a bit sticky to eat I have a water tray on the ground too and all my birds seem to like a good drink as well. Will buy them again.

Excellent value and quality
Excellent value, certainly in comparison with high street /retail park shops, where even the best prices would have been a tenner more for same quantity. Hard, compact structure which last a good time, not crumbly as others I've bought. One or two mis-shapedoand broken in transit, but can still use so no issue. Very heavy package, as others comment on... Two boxes of 150 balls each taped together. Each box is substantial in weight, so together they are really heavy. Delivery man had to bring them in for me... And I then split them into the separate boxes. Weight would be an issue for some I think.

Stupidly hard to break
Already written a review about. As these were so hard I would crush them and add to bird table. As you can see from the video these are even hard to break battering with a rolling pin. Poor birds will have broken beaks. It could be just I got a box of bad ones. Have to say I will not be purchasing these again.

Much better than some reviews suggest
I wasn't too sure at first after reading the reviews, but at such a low price by comparison to other offers I figured it couldn't hurt so I ordered them. I'm glad I did, and have just ordered another pack. Pros: Half the price of most other suet balls out there. They have lasted for over 4 months, and the birds seem to enjoy them. They are harder than a lot of the suet balls out there, so the birds don't demolish them in five minutes. Particularly helpful when the garden gets regularly mobbed by starlings. :-) Cons: VERY heavy container - large box, that feeble me, coping with a broken wrist found a real dilemma. But I had old plastic tubs from other suet ball purchases, so I decanted some on the balls out into those and then the box was light enough to drag down to the shed. They stink like silage! However, that only bothers me. The birds don't care. The dog, however, thinks they are very tasty smelling. LOL The weight does mean that some will be broken when you get them, but it wasn't all that many, and the broken ones don't go to waste because they can still be fed to the birds in other containers.
