Nikwax Unisex's Waterproof Wax for Leather-White, 60 ml

Treated a pair of boots not used for a while. Put this on last after Nikwax cleaner etc. Easy to put on - Remeber to nead tube first, and beware it is runnier than you think so take care applying. Boots looked really great almost like new, and water was beading etc when out walking.

This is really good stuff. I wanted to rejuvenate my old boots a little so I purchased this wax. It restored the original colour and gave the leather a like new sheen. The water repellency works well although I think the product would ideally be used on a finer grain leather because some water still soaks into the creases, a vast improvement however. The tube is quite small and you should really use as much of the product as the leather will hold - I managed to treat two pairs of boots with one tube. Unlike a lot of boot treatments it didn't soften the leather much/ at all which I like. Delivery was late but I have been assured by customer services ( prompt and helpful) that this was down to the courier.

I used this stuff on my leather motorcycle jacket from the 80s. I'm not from the 80s and the thing was begging for some moisture. I didn't end up using the sponge applicator, for rubbing the wax into the seams. I actually squirted the wax into my hands and massaged it into the leather. Let it dry a bit and then buffed out with a microfibre cloth. Much quicker to just get your hands a bit messy than use the sponge I found. Works great as a waterproofer and the leather feels much nicer now. Definitely buy one extra incase you run out mid way through the application process.

Having previously used liquid Nikwax I was hoping that this product would be just as good and first impressions confirm this. One application turned a pair of 4 year old leaky motorcycle boots into waterproof footwear. They were tested in what could only be described as monsoon conditions and not only survived but kept my feet (almost) bone dry. Only one or two spots of dampness were apparent on my socks and I'm sure with further applications they will become even more waterproof. This stuff is SUPERB and I can't rate it highly enough.

I saw this advertised while reading a magazine in the doctors surgery. I am SO impressed. My favourite boots have always got soggy when it rains so I doubted Nikki Wax would really help but I've tried them out, Not only in the rain, but walking through wet grass on a rainy night and Nikki Wax has completely protected my feet from getting damp inside my boots. 5 stars -- yes.

What more is there to say? I treated my leather hat when the wax arrived and some weeks later I wore it during a heavy rain shower. The hat did not soak up any water and the rain left no marks.

I used the wax on my golf shoes and it did stop the ingress of water therefore it did the job I intended it for

Not tested in the wet yet, but I imagine it'll be really good. It's oily and greasy and all-things water-resistant.

I have a pair of Softstar leather shoes, of which this was the recommended care product for them. If applied every 1-3 months, the shoes maintain their shine and colour, while protecting against tears, cracks, and water. If you go say 3 months or longer without applying, then the shoes start to incur wear and tear. The sponge on the top is meh, it falls off pretty much immediately. I was sent the wrong size, however Amazon adjusted this for me.

Works great! I used this on my kinco gloves in preparation for ski season. I applied in relatively cool weather (around 45-50F) and I think it got a little harder to spread around than if I had been working in a warmer environment. I also probably could have applied less so I’d have more leftover for other uses, but oh well. All in all this is great stuff. The photos are just after wiping off the wax so it will likely lighten with time.
