As for ALL dangerous high voltage uses, NEVER assume the insulation will protect you. Appears to hold up well.

Hard to strip
The only issue with these are that the insulation is hard to strip without cutting at least one of the strands of conductor in the middle. Neither normal nor rotary strippers worked for me. I needed to put it on a cutting board and roll a razor across it.

High Voltage Cable
It is very stiff and not easy to bend. Not as soft as silicone wires. Otherwise seems OK. OD is 5.2mm.
