Great value with clear sound quality. Setup takes probably 10 minutes or so. Treble and bass are easily adjustable, has incredible range as well. A bit blocky but clean, sleek look. Cables have stayed in place well so far.

Well I thought I had been enjoying my record collection these last few years, but the purchase of these speakers came with the revelation that I had been cheating myself the whole time! If there's a better set of powered bookshelf speakers than the Edifier 1280T's in this price range, I haven't heard them. I've used numerous individual powered speakers and soundbars since starting my record collection but finally decided to get a more proper set, caught these on sale (which they frequently are), and went for it, and I couldn't be more happy, AND...they haven't even been through the break-in period yet! These speakers are absolute powerhouses for this range, strong bass, solid consistent mids, and crisp and clear treble. The remote is convenient, but the side controls are easy to work with as well. I'm just getting started with these speakers but they have definitely reinvigorated my passion for enjoying the ritual of music! Sitting down, no distractions, and truly hearing records, LOUD and beautifully, the way they should be listened to! They look great paired with my Audio Technica LP60X and sound even better. For listeners wanting a truly enjoyable vinyl experience on a budget, this turntable and the Edifier 1280T's are one hell of a good start, take it from a lifelong music fanatic!

Nice quality and budget friendly. I bought it so I could get some decent sound quality on my turntable but I also connected it to my Bluray so I can play CDs and it sounds great as well.

Good speakers for the money. I connected them to my Macbook air and Arturia keyboard. The sound is not studio quality but good for in home music enjoyment. I also like that the speakers are remote control and small enough to fit on my book shelves.

I’m no audiophile, but I love good music. I got these this morning for a new record player setup (Audio-Technica), and needed simple audio output for family members without the patience for a dedicated amplifier. Set took about 90 seconds, then just now I listened to a DragonForce album… 🤯 I feel like I’m listening to the music for the first time (I’ve listened to the album loads of times before in other formats, but this time I kept thinking, “Where did all these notes come from?”) Speakers provide crisp highs, full lows. It was easy to set up (about 90 seconds), and it provides great sound in our living room, packaged in a compact and user-friendly design. My temporary setup is kinda scrunched up. But if your setup is a bit more spread out, the connection wire between speakers is 9-10 feet long. Provided RCA-to-RCA input cables are ~65” long. Provided 3.5mm-to-RCA input cable is also ~65” long. Power cord is hardwired to the active speaker, with a simple 2-prong plug (no ground or transformer). Simple 3-button remote does its job, it’s small, not trying to be fancy. Freq response is listed as 52Hz-20kHz. Power output of 21W+21W (DRC On).

Bought both these and the Edifier MR4 to be a 4 speaker setup. These have a more lush, heavier and penetrating bass right out of the box with full spectrum of highs too... so glad I got these. If I could only have two speakers, these would be it compared to the mr4's (not saying the mr4s aren't great too though). The purpose of these is for a minimal media, videos, (youtube/amazon/netflix) streaming quality and mp3 (not .flac as much) and nothing requiring a studio monitor. The included remote is perfect for when we're on the sofa and a commercial begins or the volume needs to be muted instantly. Returned to update the importance of the remote. Where I thought at first it was a nice addition has become a fulfilling useful tool that I hadn't realized we needed so much. Which brings me to understand the developers and manufacturers have truly thought out this product more than I could have imagined I needed at the time of selecting this version... These will work as pc speakers too and I can finally retire my 20yo Dell 2" set (which is still working btw). This is the first day and am so pleased with the sounds I'm hearing from them. When muted there's no buzzing and my wires are a mess with 1 3.5mm out from a pc into a 6point splitter, with an extension from that into another 6point splitter and these two speakers plus the Mr4's plus the Dells, plus headphones...it's a mess of wires yet need them for all different purposes. Listening to songs like blackmills - Oh Miah brings out increadible low ends, a rift of highs, and a mixture of melody that is pure sonic pleasure. For movies, music and videos these are all I needed.

We’re a Sonos house, but I wanted a dedicated analog set up so I could listen to vinyl without having to us my phone and switch over the inputs etc — I’m so glad I found these speakers, everything I read in others reviews was true about the sound quality. Clean, crisp, and balanced! Simple set-up and easy to use. I especially appreciate the little remote included.

For PC Gaming this is absolute overkill and I LOVE IT. I had some Reddragon speakers that worked well for my smaller setup and i wanted to get an upgrade. oh boy did I get one, Left Right and Center audio is Clear. The Bass and Trebble was amazing (im not an audiophile but its still great). Modern Gaming turns into a studio quality experience with these bad boys. Im probably going to get another pair.

Not a high output speaker set but they have great sound and very good build quality. The speakers hide nicely and don’t take up a lot of room. Two sources can be hooked up to them via RCA plugs and do not require switching (if you play both sources you will also hear them both simultaneously). Worth the money at regular price. A super bargain when they go on sale.

These are really sweet speakers! Better than many soundbars, homepods and other setups i have heard. By far one of the best 10k you can spend if you are an audiophile. Hook them up to a high quality audio source and enjoy rich melodious music with a good soundstage, clear mids and tight bass.

These are the best bookshelf speakers for 10k or under! Upgrading from normal Bluetooth speaker to these is a blessing. Never experienced such a good sound for desktop speakers before. Movies, music everything sounded perfect!
