One set of lights and cable became faulty and company are in the process of replacing these, very good service.

I had a little trepidation about assembling it because of some of the reviews so I was pleasantly surprised when it zipped up over the frame easily. The zippers seem sturdy and there were no really tight spots. I was very careful to make sure the frame rods were fully seated in the corner pieces. The frame rods are sturdy and fit snugly into the corner pieces so it isn't likely to come apart. I am so glad that I sprung for the XD that has 4 light strips. I got a difficult piece of jewelry (that has dimension) to test with 2 light strips and 4 and sure enough there were shadows with 2 lights mounted on top that disappeared when I installed the second 2 light strips. These I placed as one suggestion portrayed facing the back. The lights snap onto the frame securely and I like how they click when they pivot if you want to change the direction the strip is pointing. I'm also glad I got the 16" square model because it is manageable and doesn't take up a lot of space. I photograph my jewelry with a smartphone and really need to get closeups. This was impossible from the top or through the front hole(s). With the extra light strips in the front, there is enough light that I can leave the front open and get the phone in for the closeups I need. I do have to turn up the exposure when I edit the photos but they come out amazingly crisp and colorful for a phone! The backdrops come rolled up with the frame rods and are nice and thick with no marks and stay in place from the get go tucking behind the frame to keep from rolling up. I really cannot complain about anything. I cannot say I would want to take it apart and reassemble it but that was not a requirement for me anyway. I assembled it on a piece of tile board so I can move it if I need to. I don't know if I'll use the dimmable lighting feature but I'm glad to have it. Lastly, the velcro for the openings is ferociously strong. My only concession is a binder clip to hold the front open. The zippers seem sturdy enough but I would not want to be constantly zipping them over the front corners. All zippers wear out so I have them zipped down a couple inches in front and carefully turned the front up and secured it to the zipper binding (careful to avoid the zipper!) along the top with a binder clip so I can easily let the front down after a session. It is nice that the power supplies have a power switch but I have both plugged into a power strip and turn the lights on and off with the power strip switch. All in all worth the extra money. SO glad I got the 4 light strips. I'm very happy with it! Now I need more props and more interesting back drops so I can construct little scenes for my jewelry photos.

Raramente mi soffermo per lasciare recensioni ma, questa volta, è doveroso. Il prodotto è spettacolare, sia nella qualità dei materiali, che nella semplicità del montaggio, che nel funzionamento. Sto parlando della versione da 40cm di lato e 4 striscie LED. Consiglio vivamente di acquistare questa versione, piuttosto che quella con 2 sole strisce, perchè l'illuminazione è nettamente superiore. La potenza di ogni singola striscia led è bianca e regolabile tramite un potenziometro dedicato posizionato ai lati di ogni trasformatore. Il diffusore è fondamentale per evitare il riflesso sugli oggetti metallici e lucidi, purtroppo, filtra solamente i 2 led superiori. L'unica pecca, potrebbe essere nelle cuciture. Probabilmente il mio ha ujn piccolo difetto di fabbrica e qualche punto è saltato. nulla che non sia rimediabile con ago e filo nero.
