This is my third kitchen scale in 50 years. I've always had one. They help so much when working with fresh food from the store or garden. For canning and pickling purposes one is needed to follow recipes. With a 33# capacity it will be great for canning higher yields. Just about any scale will do for a household kitchen as long as it isn't way off. This is my favorite. The size is right, it's shaped like a small thin tablet. I store it on one of my cutting boards to keep it handy. I can see the readout clearly even using 5 qt bowls. The controls are intuitive. Accuracy is just fine. I took the AAA batteries out first thing and charged up the internal battery via usb (my preference).

First Impressions... I love the actual stainless steel (it's not a plastic "stainless" look). This is a premium quality feature (especially for the price). I like the dual power source (internal/external battery) and recharging capability (cable included). Super easy to use, tare and change units (the touch buttons are responsive). Although I did detect a slight/subtle lag, I did not have to repeatedly touch the button to tare (this was the highly-annoying experience on a VERY popular model here that caused me to upgrade/find this scale). Overall, this has a similar super slim/low-profile, however the extension of the actual display portion allows me to place the mixing bowl of my stand mixer, add the ingredients - and actually still SEE the dang results! (very much APPRECIATED). This was a steal/great practical purchase...just makes life easier (speeds things up: subtracts some frustration/additional finger-pressing). I'd easily recommend over the older/other popular model on here.

Very easy to use. Converts grams to ounces seamlessly. It’s nice to be able to use any vessel you want to hold your items to weight them. Also nice that you have the option to use regular removable batteries or can charge the built in battery. Also very slim compact and easy to read

Very well priced and easy to use. I needed a new kitchen scale to get back into baking bread which needs more precision on the ingredient weights. When I started pricing kitchen scales with a TARE button, pricing was all over the spectrum. This one was on the low end, but I felt I didn’t need a scientific lab kind of accuracy. My older one didn’t have a TARE button which helps to deal with aggregate weights and also accommodates the weight of the bowl you are using. I think it’s accurate, though my digital readings fluctuated a bit (.01or .02) but far more accurate than a manual kitchen scale. All you need to understand is the fundamental difference between hitting zero versus the TARE function. Just think of zero as totally manual and TARE enabling your need to manually add and subtract weight and is such a timesaver. Once you get the hang of using the TARE button you will never go back to the manual way of calculating ingredient weights. I love sequential weighing using the TARE button. I actually only recently learned the power of the TARE button when it comes to sequential weighing. You can add ingredients one after the other simply by adding an ingredient and hitting TARE. Very well priced, lightweight and easy to store and comes with batteries to boot!! I have to say that one of my favorite features is the ability to use regular alkaline batteries. Everything in my home seems to always be dead when I want to use it. I like alkaline batteries. This suits me very well for my home use purposes.

This scale is a powerhouse of precision, and I am genuinely impressed with how solid and sleek it feels in my kitchen. The 33-pound capacity is more than enough for everything from baking ingredients to bulkier foods, and the stainless steel surface looks super professional. I love that it’s rechargeable...no hunting for batteries, but the charging cable is a little short, which can be annoying if your outlets aren’t nearby. The digital display is bright and easy to read, and the buttons respond instantly, making it really simple to switch units or tare the scale. Weighing small ingredients is dead accurate, which makes meal prep feel almost fun instead of a chore. The only downside is that the scale is slightly heavier than I expected, so it’s not something I want to move around constantly. Overall, it’s stylish, sturdy, and highly functional, making it a serious upgrade for any kitchen. I’m giving it four stars because while it’s amazing, a slightly longer charging cable and lighter design would push it to perfection.

Well-made, lightweight, accurate and attractive.

Totally awesome. I’ve been making sourdough bread and it uses grams so this is perfect. What is the best feature I think is that you can put an object on the scale press the “TARE” button and it will put the scale back at zero so all you are weighing is the actual product. It appears to be very accurate. I love them. It is so nice and slim and it is very easily in a drawer, right where I need it.

Works great, better then the Amazon Basics scale because it lights up rather than reflective also the Amazon scale would read +/- 1 gram depending on what side of the bowl you touched last. Also it's rechargeable.

Quite small and very light. Easy to use and you always have the batteries as backup if you happen to forget to charge it up. Display is bright and clear.

Zeer praktische weegschaal. Niet te groot voor op het aanrecht, maar wel net groot genoeg om een middelgrote kom met inhoud te wegen en zicht te houden op het display. Bovendien is het display een led-display, wat 's avonds beter afleesbaar is dan een onverlicht lcd-display. Als klap op de vuurpijl heeft het ook nog een oplaadbare batterij. Dus een goede en betere vervanger voor ons oude afgedankte weegschaaltje.
