Well made. Thread is a proper Acme thread, but still use some grease. This kit will press just about any size bearing you are likely to encounter on a bicycle. The case is cheap but it does hold everything nicely. Sometimes you can find the same thing without the case for less, but this is already pretty inexpensive.

Works well as a bearing press but the set doesn’t have any extractors as advertised when I purchased it.

Fantastic deal on a fantastic press. I do wish there were more storage spots for the drifts that are on the spool- you need to completely disassemble and take them off before starting your project. A minor inconvenience but that's my only complaint.

This kit is cheap, smooth, and has all you need to install bearings in any bicycle, really a must ...

I got this so I could swap out bearings in my bike hubs as needed. Worked perfectly for pressing the 3 bearings into SRAM XD driver (don't forget to put the spacer in before pressing in 3rd bearing... just sayin') and worked perfectly for the 2 larger bearings in the hub itself. It had all the size spacers that I needed, and has them all labeled really well. One tiny gripe is getting the pressing threaded tool out you have to remove the stack of plates that are stored on it. But I also understand that the box would be too GIANT if they were all stored elsewhere. Great set for bikes IMO.

super nice for replacing bearing on my mountain bike. Wish I would've ordered a set with shells... but then I grabbed some pvc couplings and threw them in the kit and problem solved

You get what you pay for and with that in mind it works like it should. It pressed in my bearings just fine. The drifts are well made and the threaded road is the weakest part. The interface between the rod and the handles isn't as refined as I would like but again for the money, well worth it. Plus, for me, how many bearings am I really going to press in my lifetime? Sometimes you just don't need the best but just good enough and this fits the bill.

Set did exactly what I needed and having all the fittings labeled by bearing model helped. Fit was good and did not scratch up right away. The handles don't stay very tight but I assume they are removable in case the bearings are in hard to reach places.

I did my fatbike hubs , this is a great value. I’m not sure why people are complaining about the case. It’s a free case if it all just came in a bag it is still well worth it. Also I greased the threads up before using. Great value !!
