Are the straps elastic? How wide are they on Vanity Fair 73180 bra?

I just measured the straps - they are 3/4 inch wide. They are elastic.

Can you crisscross these straps in the back?

No they do not criss cross however the straps are very comfortable.

Why does it smell of chemicals so bad. I cant wear this.

I always wash my new items before wearing. Because of the reason hope I was helpful

does the cup size get bigger with large band size

The cup size is calculated by measuring for band size around your chest above your breasts. Then measure around the chest at the largest part of your breasts. By subtracting the band size from the full chest size you get a number that coincides with a cup size. 4 inch difference is usually a D cup. 3 a C. 2 a B. So, if you have a 30in band size and a 34 in full around the chest size. It will say D cup. But the cup will be smaller than the band size of 40 in with full chest of 44in which is still a D cup just for the fact that it covers more area across (close to 5 more inches across the front) I’m not going to get into the algebra. Lol. It has worked for me from 32C to a 40D.
