Discover the best of the Mowgli Street Food menu, featuring beautiful, tasty dishes and behind-the-scenes stories from the popular ITV show and restaurants. Review: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Delicious Gift That Keeps on Giving (Calories and Joy) - I bought Mowgli Street Food as a birthday gift for my partner, and now I'm fairly certain I've secured my spot as "Partner of the Year" (or at least "Partner Who Gives the Best Presents"). She absolutely loved it. This book is basically the greatest hits of Nisha Katona's Mowgli restaurants — a greatest tastes album, if you will. It's beautifully put together, full of vibrant photos, easy-to-follow recipes, and the kind of chatty, warm storytelling that makes you feel like Nisha's right there in your kitchen, gently judging your spice levels. We’ve been cooking our way through the book, and so far, everything has been a hit. But the Chat Bombs? Oh. My. Gosh. They're like edible confetti explosions of flavour. If there were a Michelin star for snacks that cause actual household debates over who gets the last one, these would win. The recipes are approachable for beginners but satisfying for more confident cooks too. Expect to build up your spice rack — and possibly your waistline — but it’s 100% worth it. In short: Buy it. Gift it. Cook it. Eat it. And then pretend you came up with the recipes yourself when your friends praise your “authentic Indian street food” skills. I won’t tell. 😉 Review: Imho the best cookery book - I've bought this copy as a gift as I already own it. This book is fantastic. I have tried many recipes from within, and each creates a perfectly authentic dish. The Temple Dahl is a firm favourite and the Mother Butter Chicken is the perfect dinner party curry. The Image includes Chip Butty (right) & Himalayan Cheese toast (middle), both delish! I have about 170 cookery books, but if I could only keep one, it would be Mowgli Street Food.

Amazing flavours - simple to make!
Had been served some of the dishes from this book and have since visited a couple of Mowgli restaurants. This book is incredible. Simple instructions, easy to follow that result in the most sublime dishes. Once you have built a stock of the spices it’s so easy to make the dishes for a dinner party or a mid-week meal. Best Indian food I have tasted, not overly oily or rich, just full of incredible flavours!

If you love the restaurant get this book !
Bought as a gift for a partner that loves cooking Indian recipes! I’m really delighted to say that he has tried a number of recipes from the book and our favourite has become the butter chicken with tangled greens. I would certainly recommend anyone to purchase this book, the recipes are clear easy to follow and well explained, leading to very successful and gorgeous meals. Highly recommended.

Great recipes
I am a big fan of the restaurant and this book does not disappoint. Lots of simple but delicious recipes and a huge selection to try too. So far I’ve stuck to the more simple dishes but everything I have cooked from this book has had a great flavour and also gone done well with dinner guests. Highly recommend
