Acmer 6 W is great for beginners at a good value. Very easy to get started. One plug in for the laser. Attach the protective cover. Plug in to power and usb. Download the GRBL software and ready to use. Not too many online tutorials so have been using the Acmer site to find more helpful info to get started. Have been able to engrave metal and cut 1/8" material. Use the glasses provided. Fun to learn. Good small size to fit on a table. Accurate engravings with the laser in focus. Have used this about 20 times so far and working fine.

Amazing engraver .. great value for the price. It's almost plug and play. We used it to engrave on wooden art pieces. Read the instructions to increase the intensity of burn. I used it on a Mac which will require to pay for a software license. Windows license is free. Very happy with the product.

You know. I was sceptical about this engraver when I first saw it. However, after I got it and got to play with it, this engraver is actually really good. It has no problems engraving on the materials hit lists and it can even cut through 1/16 in oak with no issues. It is super easy to set up with a total of 2 cords and a screw. Best value blue laser engraver I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

Wanted a glowforge, found out that it couldn't fit a water bottle under it which is one of the reasons why I got a glowforge. this took some getting used to but it works just as good for what... 1/10 the price. I run this machine with lightburn pro. Still learning whats good with what good but its soooo good. Designed to be portable and durable. Totally getting the value for the money.

Great little laser! Absolutely love it! For the price you can’t beat it! Once you get the software figured out it’s pretty accurate. For the size it’s extremely portable. The set up is pretty easy, I spent a lot of time looking into videos more for the software- once you got that down it’s pretty easy.

Was a little skeptical to purchase but I love it. It works really well and is well worth the price. Easy to control and communicate with, I am having a lot of fun engraving stuff

For the price you honestly can’t expect much more. Does exactly what it needs to do and the quality is pretty great if you’re willing to tweak some settings and are patient. It’s definitely not the fastest but for starting out I’m very pleased! FYI just go for light burn and don’t waste time with GRBL.
