The best cat litter
It is the best - by far. No dust, no smell and it lasts.

No issues detected, good for piece of mind
We adopted a new cat and I noticed she was in the litter box more than I thought would be normal. She did not have any other symptoms so instead of a traumatic vet trip I figured I’d give this a try for an day and continue to monitor her for any other symptoms before we went to the vet. She did not mind this being mixed in the litter, it never changed color (it does naturally after being in the litter for a long time, so don’t panic). I kept monitoring her otherwise and determined she was just very curious about the litter box was and was totally healthy. (Yes, we did make a vet trip to be sure).

I assumed it was working.
I use this brand’s litter and really like it for keeping odors down. I saw this and wanted to check my kitties urine for any signs of a problem. It hasn’t changed to one of the color indicators so I assume it’s working, and the girls have no UTI issues. I’m going to buy this again to use if I suspect a bladder issue.

Does not work!!!
Bought twice in three months. Never showed anything. Finally took my cat to the vet for blood test and found out my cat was in kidney failure! I was shocked and upset with myself thinking she was fine with the symptoms she was displaying bc I was depending on a vet developed substance for litter box. Expensive and Worthless!

expensive for the amount you get
There is no smell or dust with this product. While I love the idea of using this to detect any urine issues with the cats I have to say the bag is really small, think snack size if buying chips. Bag is filled half way just like your potato chip bags. I think value for the money is a little low but I guess peace of mind may be worth it. It would be worth about $5 for this size bag and then it would be a good value. I would have given it 5 stars except for the small amount you get. I can't speak as to the effectiveness as of yet. I do love Worlds Best Litter though!

Nice to have on hand
Great to have on hand when your kitty starts using the litter box too frequently. Pebbles are larger and white than the litter, so they're easy to keep your eye on them.

Simple to use, reassuring, and very practical for routine monitoring
I started using this litter additive as an extra way to keep an eye on my cats’ litter box habits, and I’ve been very pleased with how simple and practical it is. It’s easy to use—there’s no need to change litter, as it can be sprinkled directly on top of your regular litter. It blended in right away. Since I use a clumping litter, I can’t comment on clumping performance, but I didn’t notice any increase in dust, which I appreciate. The results are quick and easy to read. It honestly feels a bit like a small chemistry experiment, which brings out the scientist in me—in a good way. I like that it focuses on detecting changes related to blood rather than just general litter conditions, which feels more meaningful for routine monitoring. The product is designed to last for an extended period, though I personally deep clean the litter box weekly, so I haven’t tested it beyond that timeframe. Even with weekly maintenance, it still feels cost-effective and provides extra peace of mind. Overall, this is a simple, non-invasive, and easy-to-use addition to a regular litter box routine. A practical option for cat parents who want an extra layer of awareness without changing their current setup.

Requires A LOT of Blood to Activate
I tested it (with my own blood) - the good news, the crystals do turn blue when sprinkled with blood; the bad news, it takes a lot of blood to activate the crystals. First, I dropped couple of drops of my blood (pricked a finger) into about 1/2 inch of water and pour it over crystals, the crystals did not react (remained white); then I put about 3 drops of blood on crystals directly and dripped some water over, this time crystals turned blue, but my blood was directly on crystals. So, if you see blue crystals in the litter box it means that your cat's urine has A LOT of blood in it, not just a trace.

My cat has been diagnosed with FIC and I am monitoring her urine for blood as there is no cure only treatment for this condition. The crystals turn dark blue or green when there is the presence of blood or other issues (glucose) Please note that you sprinkle the whole package over the surface of your cat's litter. You do not put one or two crystals on top of the urine. That's not how it works.

I bought 4 packages. My cat HAS UTI ! It did not show up at all with 4 bags !!!! What a waste of money. Plus if your cat is ill. This does not show it. That's dangerous. Take your cat to the Vet. it is safer. More expensive. But your cats health matters.
