This product is marketed under a false botanical claim. While the packaging labels this as "Brahmi," the actual constituent is Centella asiatica (commonly known as Gala Gota or Gotu Kola). This constitutes a major breach of labeling transparency because the "Actual Brahmi" is botanically Bacopa monnieri. These two plants are not interchangeable; they belong to entirely different families and offer vastly different physiological outcomes.The manufacturer has misinformed consumers by conflating the benefits of Centella, which is primarily used for skin-barrier repair, collagen synthesis, and vascular healthwith the cognitive and nootropic benefits of true Bacopa. If you are purchasing this for memory enhancement, synaptic repair, or focus, you are receiving the wrong lead compound. Centella is an effective adaptogen, but it is not the neurological powerhouse that Bacopa is.
