My home was built in the 1930’s. It’s brick, beautiful, and in the most incredible neighborhood in Reno. Our windows are still the originals and swing out. I purchased this product when I purchased our second portable air conditioner. I was super nervous that it would not work well and that it would RIDICULOUS to install. The only thing ridiculous is the EASE of installing it. After installation, I ran my air conditioner exhaust hose to the outside through the zipper hole. I turned the A/C on and let ‘er rip! My air conditioner works beautifully and the window seal is working beautifully. I would definitely recommend this product.

My husband and I have the hottest room in the house, so we had to buy a portable ac unit. And of course, our room has the old casement windows! We had foam and plastic covering duct taped over our window and had to keep replacing it before I found Airly on Amazon. SO glad I did. This thing is a lifesaver! It's made of a tent like material, so I'm pretty sure it's waterproof. I Googled how to install it and it was so simple! We bought the smallest size, and it was still too big by about 2 feet, but that's okay because I have it doubled up on one side of the window! I see it as extra protection! So far, no leaks at all! I have given a portable a/c unit without the window installation kit parts and noticed they are super expensive to replace. I found this and tried it out - it does the job pretty well! Well worth the $11. Easy to install, (I just rolled in the ends that are too long for my sliding door and window) and there was plenty of the adhesive velcro for both my window upstairs and the glass sliding door downstairs, so I can switch them out as needed. As for the durability, I've only noticed the adhesive velcro peeling off at the ends when I first put it on the window, but it's holding up so far when I pushed it back on. I'm also happy that the zippers stay in place really well around the hose so there's minimal air leakage. Don't have a photo of it on my door, but there's a pic of it on my window.

I live in a 3-story condo with a single AC zone. The first floor cools off, but the 3rd floor is a good 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, and I have searched for years for a way to cool my 3rd floor, but had not been able to figure out an effective way to vent a standalone AC out the skylight until I found the Airly Airlock Window Seal. I've only had it installed for one night so I can't rate its durability yet, but the 3rd floor was the most comfortable it's ever been in the summer, my son actually had to get up and turn off the AC during the middle of the night because he started to get cold! Fantastic product, and a great value for the price. It was really easy to install too, only took about 10 minutes. Highly recommend it!

I like the idea behind this product and it works ok, however if you have it on a full sun window it will melt off. The adhesive on the Velcro provided is not suitable for the heat of summer sun and I hope the maker swaps future versions for a stronger adhesive. We ended up reattaching the Velcro to the window with duct tape, which is obviously much less attractive and clean, but it’s allowed us to continue to use it throughout the summer.

It easy to put up but mine started to fall apart after a day of using it. I found myself having to fix it or rig it everyday to stay closed up. I finally just took it down and cut a box to fit in the window and tbh it works way better than this plastic zip up.

Our windows have a vertical outward opening that we control with a crank. Working from Home during Covid during the California heat wave, we did invest in a portable AC. the difficulty was to connect the unit tube to our windows. I've found many of these options on Amazon (to get it fast without going out) and picked this one. it was perfect: it arrived super fast, was easy to install (with the adhesive velcroc and the zipper) and worked perfectly. In the fall, when we stored the portable AC, the window seal was easy to fold and to store. I've decided to leave the velcroc on the window. It will take 2 minutes to re install next summer. I recommend

Great item. Works exactly as described. My windows are kind of awkward (old building, 30 stories up) and this still worked a charm. Instructions can be a little daunting, especially if you don't know what the word casement is! A couple of tips to help you through: - Plan your velcro route ahead of time. Don't lay it out at random. You'll regret it. - Clean the areas you want to attach your velcro to. The gutters in my casement were filthy and would have made a worse match. - Press the velcro into corners. Don't let it hang out, it makes a worse fit. - If you have some overhang on the seal, use a bit of extra velcro to connect it to the casement a little further out.

I guess it all depends on how it fitted in your window. If not, just try another product. If it worked out, then it's gonna work nice for you. Nice adhesive, but don't forget to degrease the surface before the gluing. P. S. It's a bit big for window, my window's size 32"x38"
